The hair weaving technology which has already set its footprints in Hindi and Telugu has come to Kannada for the very first time. After Shahrukh Khan and Allu Arjun sporting long hairs for 'Don 2' and 'Badarinath' respectively, the hair weaving technology has come to Kannada through Yash's new film 'Gajakesari' to be directed by cameraman turned director S Krishna.
'Gajakesari' is a periodic comic thriller with Yash playing dual roles. One among the two roles need Yash sporting long hairs and for that hair weaving technology instead of wigs was used. Alex, who had designed Allu Arjun's hair style in Badarinath, was invited to design Yash's hair style for the film. Alex not only designed Yash's hair style but also adopted the hair weaving technique.
'It's really a tough job' says Krishna. 'Not in the terms of money, but the physical stress it gives. It takes nearly 20 hours to do the hair weaving and one has to be really patient all these time. It was a tough job and Yash's cooperation and dedication was really superb' says Krishna.
As of now, only the photo shoot with this get up has been done and the actual shooting of the film is likely to commence in the month of August.
