Jnanpith Award winner playwright Girish Karnad has been admitted to St John's Hospital after he was injured during a freak accident during the shooting of the film Pora.
The shooting for the climax of the film was taking place in Nelamangala this evening when the accident happened. The shooting spot was full of slush due to rain effect and Karnad slipped and fell. His hand and leg has been injured but his health is not affected.
