Already doing tremendous service in projecting the 'desi' music and culture the national award winning music director of Kannada films Hamsalekha's monthly program from the beginning of January 2008 has attracted people from various walks of field. Now on July 31st Hamsalekha has thought of a major dance drama 'Jeevadha Bombe' to show the strength of 'desi' culture and tradition. This is based on a folk tale in which 150 students plus 100 artists and technicians are taking part in it.
Hamsalekha is also contemplating on Talent 3000. The 'Adivasi' and Tribal people talent would be discovered from this new scheme he has arrived at. The Hamsalekha Desi Vidya Samsthe ' Bachelor of Performing Art institute he is planning at Mudhugere in Channapatna Taluk on a 50 acre land. Dravidian University has given consent to such unique Art institute.
