The release controversy between 'Chanda' and 'Yuga' both starring Vijay has reached a new level on Tuesday morning when Akila Karnataka 'Dhuniya' Vijay Abhimanigala Sangha staged a protest on the attitude of 'Chanda' producer cum director S.Narayan.
Director Narayan has not invited Vijay for dubbing of his portion to 'Chanda' and this has irked the fans of Vijay. In addition to it director Narayan is breaking the gentleman agreement that he would release 'Chanda' only after 50 days of 'Yuga' screening has reached the boiling stage. Senior director cum producer S.Narayan is hell bent on releasing 'Chanda' on November 15 but a week earlier 'Yuga' is releasing.
The 'Dhuniya' Vijay fans association shouted slogans and sat on Dharna at the busy Kamakshipalya bus stand blocking the traffic for one hour. Vijay also joined the dharna of his fans association and condemned the dubbing done to his portion for 'Chanda' film.
It is a fight between senior and junior in the field of cinema. Vijay is also sitting on hunger strike on the day of release of his film 'Chanda'. Reputed director cum producer S.Narayan is of the firm opinion that he has not violated any agreement. "The slow pace of 'Yuga' shooting and post production of it has locked them in problem. I am disciplined in my profession right from the beginning of my career ", says intelligent producer and director S.Narayan.
