One of the senior directors of Kannada with three decades stint and 25 films to his credit Raj Kishore (53) died of heart attack in Shirdi on Wednesday morning. He was on a pilgrimage tour with his family members. The body of Raj Kishore will be brought to Bangalore to his residence in Kalyanagar on Thursday morning. The cremation takes place on the same day in the evening.
Raj Kishore the humble and simple personality was Dwarakish associate for long time. He began as independent director from Dr Vishnuvardhana and Nalini starring film 'Aaseya Bale'. Some of his notable films are Jeevan Jyothi, Banda Nanna Ganda, Avathara Purusha, Thayiya Aase, Bhoomi Thayane, Thayigobba Karna, Raja Yuvaraja, Trinetra, Shabarimalai Swami Ayyappa, Challenge, Puksatte Ganda Hotte Thumba Unda, Banda Nanna Ganda, Mallige Hoove, Hosa Love story, Neela Megha Shama, Beda Krishna Ranginata, Bhairava, Simhadri, Akka and his last film was 'Sirichandana'.
Actress Radhika was introduced by this director Raj Kishore from 'Neela Megha Shama' Kannada film eight years ago.
