The debut direction of journalist turned director D.Sumana Kitthur 'Slum Bala' based on 'Dadagiriya Dinagalu' of Agni Sridhar in which the macho hero Vijay and charming Shuba Poonj play lead roles has been given U and A certificate by the regional censor board.
For the smoking and some drinking scenes in the film the censor board has passed 'U/A' and I have no objection to it says Sumana Kitthur speaking to this correspondent on Monday morning. Ravindra and Syed Aman are the producers of 'Slum Bala' that has story and dialogues by Agni Sridhar. A.C.Mahender is the cameraman and Arjun has scored the music. Umasri, Girija Lokesh, Shashikumar, Achyuth, Dharma, B.Suresh, Satya are also in the cast.
