Businessman, social servant B.K.Srinivas's maiden film production taken up by experienced Ramesh Surve to direct for the first time is thinking in logical style and making right moves. After 10 days of shooting the director Surve is now introducing real life doctors to play brief role in the film 'Mandakini'. Dr.Padmini Prasad (Sexologist), Dr.Vasundhara Bhoopathy (Ayurveda Specialist) and Dr.T.Ramesh (general phycian) appear on the silver screen for the first time giving the right advice to the problem faced by the heroine in this film.
Director Surve is touching upon the ancient values to the present development and advancement in his film. The Miss Bangalore of 1978 Suma Rao is playing the mother in law role for heroine Mandakini for the first time.
Recently the talkie portion of this film was shot at a private house in Chandra layout in Bangalore.
Chetan, Suresh Rai, Ashwin, Dhuniya Rashmi, Jayanthi, Pavitra Lokesh, Sharat Lohitashva are in the cast. P.K.H.Das is the cameraman. Kalyan has tuned seven songs for this film.
