Pallakki Review

After two super hit films (Nenapirali and Jothe Jotheyali) actor Prem's 'Pallakki' is disappointing. The story is told umpteen times on silver screen. The recent example is 'Arasu' of Puneeth Rajkumar. Why our own people do not see our own films and incorporate necessary changes to the story. The lovely star Prem cries on the screen as a defeated person. This is something not in good taste for the younger generation who like him. A popular star Prem has to immediately correct from picking this type of inconsequential film scripts.

Lakshmikanth (Prem) is happy go lucky guy because of his papa's property. He has no job till the first half except to go behind Prarthana (Ramanithu Chaudhary). The way in which he follows her and admires her is nothing but nonsense. Smooch to Prarthana's slippers is the height of indecency. At the interval point Prarthana ask Lakshmikanth one straight question €“ what is your earning in life to get married in life. This is the eye opener for Lakshmikanth. He starts the closed textile factory of his father from the safe deposit money kept for his sister marriage and becomes stinking rich. As expected Lakshmikanth is seen in the hospital bed because of a business clash is accepted by Prarthana.

Director Narendra Babu has not learnt lessons from his maiden film 'Oh Gulabiye' debacle. He is very poor at screenplay and Nadig's script has no stuff. Youngsters in the team of 'Pallakki' have fumbled in churning out the film of poor quality.

Actor Prem in the early stage of his career has to get hold of novel scripts and screenplay. Otherwise he is going to have it tough in his career. Ramanithu Chaudhary is the cynosure of all eyes. This beautiful looking heroine has a good future ahead.

Gurukiran gives two lovely tunes and others are negligible. Mahesh Talkad has made the film look colorful on screen from his camera.

We do not compel you to watch this film.
