Making A Short-Film Is Much Tougher: Mohanlal

Mohanlal is one such Malayalam celebrity who has always come out in support of young talents and new ventures. The actor has been a part of couple of short-films and most recently, the actor made an appearance in a short-film Loda Loda Lodalu, made by Aneesh Anwar.

The actor recently stated that making a short-film is a tougher job than making a full length feature film. The actor was speaking at the pooja ceremony of two movies to be produced by Revathy Kalamandir.

Mohanlal had earlier associated with a short-film named Reflections, directed by Bejoy Nambiar. The actor had played the central role in the film. He also made his presence felt in a recent short film named Puncharikoo Parasparam directed by Hari P Nair, in which there was a footage of the actor towards the end of the film. Meanwhile, the renowned production banner Revathy Kalamandir is planning a comeback to the industry with two anthology movies which would be produced by them. The films are yet-to-be-titled and further details would be revealed in the coming days.

According to G Suresh Kumar, one anthology film would consist of short-films made by renowned film-makers who are also the mentors of Revathy Kalamandir film institute. The other anthology film would have short-films made by the students of the institute. The banner is also planning to promote online release of films by simultaneously, releasing these projects online on the day of their release itself.
