Attempts are on to remake 'Jilla' in Telugu and it is likely that Venkatesh and Ravi Teja would replace Mohanlal and Vijay, respectively.
The Telugu version, which is untitled yet, would be produced by Pawan Kalyan's close friend Sharat Marar, while Veeru Potla is expected to wield the megaphone.
Meanwhile, there is another buzz in Tollywood that Balakrishna and Kalyanram would remake 'Jilla'.
Earlier, before 'Jilla' hit the screens, there was a talk that the film was inspired by Telugu hit 'Prasthanam'. But later it turned out to be a different story.
