Mahesh Babu’s most awaited movie 1 Nenokkadine in Sukumar direction is in post-production works. The shoot is nearing completion and simultaneously the technical team is busy with the VFX works. The unit members are working round the clock as the release date is nearing by. The producers and in fact Mahesh Babu has confirmed 1 Nenokkadine release date as January 10. While 14 Reels Entertainment banner produced the film, Eros International has acquired the film’s rights. Kriti Sanon is the heroine. Devi Sri Prasad composed audio will be launched on December 19 at Shilpakala Vedika. Ratnavelu is the cinematographer.
1 Nenokkadine game teaser launched
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Telugu action-thriller 1 Nenokkadine has hit the screens for Pongal and now, a game teaser has been launched by the makers. Mahesh Babu’s look has been replicated in the new game and the full version will be released shortly. 14 Reels Entertainment production house have come up with this new game, which will be in the same theme as the film. 1 Nenokkadine directed by Sukumar also featured debutant Kriti Sanon, Nassar, Anu Haasan, Sayaji Shinde, Pradeep Rawat and Posani Krishna Murali. The film earned mixed reviews but it has turned out to be a super hit at overseas box-office crossing 1 Million mark.
1 Nenokkadine turns hit at US box office
Superstar Mahesh Babu-starrer Telugu psychological thriller 1 Nenokkadine, may have failed to register a bumper opening in the country but is doing brisk business in the overseas market. The film collected Rs.5.82 crore in its opening weekend in the US. Directed by B. Sukumar, "1: Nenokkadine", which released Jan 10, is the story of a man's search for the killer of his parents. In Andhra Pradesh, it managed to collect Rs.8.4 crore on its opening day. Produced by 14 Reels Entertainment, it also features Kriti Shanon, Nassar, Kelly Dorjee, Shayaji Shinde and Vikram Singh in important roles. "The film was not received so well here, but it has turned out to be a blockbuster overseas. Out of the four Pongal releases, Mahesh's '1: Nenokkadine' opened to phenomenal numbers. It approximately collected Rs.5.82 crore in the opening weekend," trade analyst Trinath told. Last year, Mahesh's Telugu family drama "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu", which also released during Pongal, raked in Rs.8.02 crore in its first week in the US. "Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan have good hold in the overseas market. Usually, their films are received very well," Trinath added.
1 crore views in 3 days, Kabali storm all the way
Super Star Rajinikanth, one of the country’s biggest stars ever, has done it yet again in style. The teaser of Thalaivar’s upcoming gangster flick, Kabali, is continuing its sensational storm on YouTube and has just surpassed the magical 1 crore views milestone in just 3 days. The teaser has so far notched up nearly 3.10 lakh likes, yet another fastest feat by the legendary star. Meanwhile in Telugu, Kabali’s teaser has crossed the 10 lakh views mark in less than 3 days, proof enough that Rajini’s charisma is still unbeatable. The film’s audio album and theatrical trailer will be released later this month and the movie will hit the screens in June.
Ileana charges 1.10 crores for ‘Tom and Jerry’
Ileana who has been enjoying the position of one of the top actresses of the telugu film industry is said to be charging a remuneration of Rs.1.10 crores. The hot actress has been roped in for a film under the banner ‘Sravanthi Movies‘ with Sravanthi Ravi Kishore as the producer. Young hero Ram is playing the male lead in the film. Surender Reddy who has given a blockbuster hit ‘Kick’ in 2009 with Ileana is directing this film also. The movie is tentatively titled as ‘Tom and Jerry’ and Ileana is said to be charging a whopping sum of Rs.1.10 crores for 65 days of shooting. Ileana has also been roped in as a brand ambassador for Big C and Enamor.
1:40 Ki Last Local postponed
Abhay v/s Abhay clash has been averted. While his 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd' was confirmed for February 23 release, off late there were also indications that his sole lead film '1:40 Ki Last Local' would also arrive on the same day. With none less than 6 films trying to find screen space on the last Friday of February, it would only have been a sane decision for some films to move out of the race and arrive later. Director Sanjay Khanduri's debut vehicle '1:40 Ki Last Local' has taken a lead in that and has now been postponed by at least a couple of months. The film is aiming for an April release or even later. A story that unfolds in one single night, the film stars Neha Dhupia opposite Abhay.
