Prithviraj Reveals Mammootty's Role In The Great Father

Prithviraj, the young actor who is also the co-producer of The Great Father, finally revealed lead actor Mammootty's role in the movie. Mammootty is playing the central character David in the movie. It is the first time Prithviraj is visiting the sets of The Great Father, despite being the co-producer of the film. The actor shared some candid clicks with Mammootty and team, on his Facebook page.As per the reports, Mammootty's character David is a doting father, who shares a deep bonding with his little daughter, played by Baby Sara. The movie depicts how David seeks for his daughter.Arya, one of the co-producers of the movie, is playing a pivotal role in the movie which is originally written for Prithviraj. If the reports are to be true, it is a negative-shaded, performance-oriented character. The movie will feature popular actress Sneha in the role of David's wife. Mia George, Malavika Mohanan, IM Vijayan, Manikandan Achari, Aryan Menon, etc., essay the supporting roles in the movie.The Great Father is written and directed by debutante Haneef Adeni. The movie is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Arya, under the banner August Cinema.

Tham Thakam Pathakam: A Road Movie On The Cards!

An interesting road movie is all set to hit the theatres soon. Titled as Tham Thakam Pathakam, the film has been directed by John Joseph. The film, which is touted to be a thriller, mixed with the elements of a road movie, has Vijay Babu and actress Parvathy Nair in the lead roles. The shooting of the film has been completed and the first look poster of the film was released recently by the makers of the film. Reportedly, Vijay Babu and Parvathy Nair play a married couple in this film. In a nutshell, the film is about a lorry and a car chase. Tham Thakam Pathakam is also expected to have some real stunts in the film. The film also features actors like Anjali Aneesh Upasana, Niyaz Becker, Kottayam Pradeep, Baby Laya etc. in important roles. The film has its screenplay written by Anil Kunhappan. Popular cinematographer Ajayan Vincent has handled the camera department of the film. Songs written by rafeeq Ahmed have been set to tune by Ronny Raphel. Tham Thakam Pathakam has been produced by J P Joseph under the banner of Mega Media studios.

Mohanlal's Oppam Minnaminunge Song Takes Social Media By Storm

The first official video song of Oppam, the upcoming Mohanlal starring Priyadarshan movie has been released. The soothing melody, which starts Minnum Minnaminunge, has already taken the social media by storm. Minnum Minnaminunge is sung by the popular singer MG Sreekumar and baby Shreya Jayadeep. The song, which is jointly composed by Jim, Biby, Eldhose, and Justin, of 4 Musics Band, is penned by BK Harinarayanan. The song features the deep bonding between the characters of Mohanlal and Baby Meenakshi and is Ishot at the beautiful locations of Ooty. Minnum Minnaminunge has already crossed 16k views in YouTube, within a few hours of its release.

Prithviraj is Not But Arya In Mammootty's The Great Father

Prithviraj, the young actor was rumoured to be making a special appearance in the upcoming Mammootty starrer The Great Father. But, as per the latest updates, Tamil actor Arya has replaced Prithviraj. According to the sources, Prithviraj backed out of the project due to his extremely busy schedule. The movie is jointly produced Prithviraj, Arya, Santhosh Sivan, and Shaji Nadesan, for August Cinema. It is the third Mollywood outing of Arya, who entered the industry with August Cinema's debut project Urumi. Later, he joined as the fourth member of the company and acted in their 2015-released venture Double Barrel. My Great Father, which stars Mammootty and popular child artist Baby Sara in the lead roles, is written and directed by newcomer Haneef Adeni. Sneha essays the female lead opposite Mammootty in the movie. Reportedly, the movie which is said to be a family thriller, depicts the story of the deep bonding between a little girl and her protective father. The rest of the star cast and further details are will be revealed soon. The project is expected to start rolling, immediately after Mammootty completes his current project Peranbu, directed by Ram. My Great Father is slated to hit the theatres as a Christmas special release.

Shane Nigam To Play Manju Warrier's Son

Shane Nigam, the Kismath fame actor who is also the son of popular mimicry artist cum actor Aby, is all set to share the screen with Manju Warrier in the upcoming movie C/o Sairabanu. The movie which features Manju Warrier in the title role Sairabanu, will have Shane Nigam in the role of her son. It the sixth movie outing of Shane, who made his movie debut with Thanthonni. The young actor who started his career as a child artist, has essayed supporting roles in several popular films, including Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Annayum Rasoolum, and Kammatipaadam. Manju's character in the movie is a Kochi-based traditional Muslim woman. C/o Sairabanu also marks the comeback of senior actress Amala Akkineni. Reportedly, Amala plays the character Annie John Tharavadi, an advocate. As per the sources, C/o Sairabanu is based on the photojournalist Victor George missing case. The movie is directed by debutante Antony Sony, the former associate of the popular director Roshan Andrews. C/o Sairabanu is scripted by RJ Shaan and will be jointly produced by Eros International and Macto Films. The rest of the star cast, technical crew, and further details are expected to be announced soon.

It was on August 9, 2013 that Malayalm film industry witnessed the arrival of a road movie, which later went on to become one of the best movies of the genre, setting a standard of its own. It has been 3 years since the movie Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi released, and on this day the lead actor of the film, Dulquer Salmaan, shared some unseen stills from the movie through his Facebook page. Take a look.. The movie has got a cult fan following and is considered to be one such movie that grows with time. Certain sections of the audiences, especially people who are fond of road movies did love the movie to the core. The film directed by Sameer Thahir was produced by him, under the banner of Happy Hours Entertainment and E4Entertainment. The film had its script written by Hashir Mohamed. Cinematography of the film was handled by Gireesh Gangadharan. Apart from Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Wayne, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi did have actors like Joy Mathew, Shane Nigam, Baby Anikha, Vanitha Krishnachandram etc. in important roles.
