The blockbuster success of Bichagadu has ensured that Vijay Anthony’s Bhetaludu gets a decent opening. The same has happened as the film opened to packed houses at least in the B and C centers.Trade pundits reveal that the film saw a very good occupancy in the single screens of both the Telugu states. Directed by Pradeep, this film has Arundhati Nair as the female lead.With no big films releasing in the upcoming days, it will be very interesting to see how the film fares.
Bethaludu releasing with Table Profits
Tamil Composer-cum-Hero Vijay Antony created a sensation with 'Bichagadu'. Now, He is making the heads turn even before the release of his upcoming flick 'Bethaludu'. Telugu Theatrical Rights of 'Bethaludu' were obtained for Rs 3 crore by Producer S Venu Gopal (Nakshatram fame). The film has done a record pre-release business to fetch table profits for the Telugu Producer. A 10-minute footage of 'Bethaludu' was screened during the audio launch. This generated tremendous buzz around the movie and Guests who attended the event were confident of its success. Vijay Antony told he is blessed to receive such an acceptance from Telugu audience so early in his career. 'Bichagadu' Telugu rights were bought for just Rs 50 lakh. The film fetched over Rs 20 crore in return. Will 'Bethaludu' repeat the magic at the Box Office?
‘Bethaludu’ release date confirmed!
Coundown has begun. Vijay Antony’s “Bethaludu” will be hitting the screens on 1st December in maximum number of screens worldwide.Producer S Venugopal of ‘Win Win Win Creations’ along with Manas Rishi Enterprises is bringing this movie to Telugu audiences. “We are happy to announce the release date. After the announcement of demonetization by our honorouble Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, people were in confusion and watching movies were not on their mind. So we postponed the movie from November 18th. Now we are happy to announce that we have locked December 1st as our new release date.” S Venugopal said. Bethaludu Shows Upper Hand
Vijay Anthony no more needs an introduction for Telugu audience. ‘Dr Salim’ and ‘Bichagadu’ made him a popular name in Telugu cinema circles. The surprising hit of ‘Bichagadu’ both on big and small screen speaks about his instantly gained craze. His upcoming flick ‘Bethaludu’ is also said to be generating tremors in Telugu cinema trade circles.‘Bethaludu’ is said to be a novel horror thriller releasing simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil on December 1st. Apparently there are ‘Manyam Puli’ from Mohan Lal and ‘Araku Roadlo’ from Sairam Shankar hitting the screens on December 2nd, yet ‘Bethaludu’ appears to be the first choice for cinema lovers.Vijay Anthony and director Pradeep Krishna Murthy seem to be extremely confident about the flick. They have released starting 10 minutes of the film much early and got tremendously positive response from audience. So, a positive energy is surrounding ‘Bethaludu’ for now and optimistically Vijay Anthony is enjoying an upper hand over December first week releases.
Bethaludu Upper Hand On Puli
This week two dubbing films Bethaludu and Manyam Puli are hitting the Telugu screens on December 1st and 2nd respectively. While promotions are in full swing for Vijay Antony starrer film, there are no such activities for superstar Mohanlal's movie which was an industry hit in Malayalam.Though Mohanlal has become familiar to Telugu audiences with Janathaga Garage, Telugu producers of Manyam Puli have failed to make use of the optimistic feature. On the flip side, buzz is good on Bethaludu since it is very next project of Vijay after the humongous success of Bichagadu.While Manyam Puli trailer wasn't arresting with pretty ordinary visuals, Bethaludu makers did right thing by releasing first 10 minutes of the movie into online and response for the short video has been impressive. While Tamil version (Saithan) video has crossed 1.5 million views, Telugu version got 2.5 lakh views.Manyam Puli also has our own Telugu hero Jagapathi Babu and Kamalini Mukherjee who is also well-known to Telugus, wherein Vijay Antony is the only known actor in Bethaludu.In fact, Bichagadu effect is clearly visible on Bethaludu. Like Vijay's previous films, the Pradeep Krishnamoorthy directed movie too is expected to have some pleasing elements. And Manyam Puli is a pure commercial cinema. As per Telugu audience mind set, commercial cinema is only for stars and local heroes.Telugu rights of both the films fetched good amounts for own producers. Let's see which movie will shine at box office and bring smiles to Telugu producers!
