This is more than promotional victory for a movie when it got deep into everyone’s thinking from the very next day after title and first look announcement. ‘Ism’ from Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Puri Jagannath is the new movie briskly progressing with shooting and is aimed for a September end release. Here comes latest update from movie unit that, Kalyan Ram’s sincere and powerful journalist character in the film is named after Balakrishna. Yes, the hero in film will be addressed as Balakrishna. As we do know, Balayya is NKR’s Babai and it is also a known a secret that Balakrishna and Harikrishna families are distanced on political grounds. In order to win Balakrishna Fans support, in the past NKR remixed a super hit Balakrishna song ‘Arey O Samba’ for ‘Patas.’ The film was a big commercial hit. Now, Balakrishna’s name used as it is for central protagonist character is a clever move from Puri and NKR. Hopefully, Balayya sentiment works positive for ‘Ism.’
ISM will not release for Dussehra!
This year many films waited for the open slot on lucrative Dussehra date and with seasoned regular Ram Charan Tej opting out as his movie ‘Dhruva’ needs time to complete. The mad rush for the date has increased beyond expectations and few films are looking for alternative dates that are feasible to release their films with good theatres after the rush subsides. The first film to do so is, Puri Jagannadh and Nandamuri Kalyanaram’s movie ISM. The movie was completed at a brisk pace after it’s shooting started in July. The movie crew is now busy in completing it’s post production works. The latest release date for the movie is said to be October 21. The official announcement regarding the release is expected in few days along with the audio release details. Kalyanaram has put a lot of hopes on this movie has he reduced 11 kgs for the film and built a six pack. The budget of the movie is said to be 30 crores and Jagapathi Babu played a crucial role in the film. This will be Babu’s second collaboration with Puri Jagannadh after, Bachi. The protagonist character is said to shaped up well and we see him as a journalist.

ISM has a cute love story- Kalyan Ram
Now that the release of ISM is round the corner, the unit is busy promoting the film big time. Kalyan Ram himself is leading from the front and is giving interviews all over. Speaking to a television channel, the Nandamuri hero said that his film, ISM has a cute love story which will be showcased during the first half. Adding further, he revealed that the romantic scenes between him and Aditi Arya have come out quite well. Directed by Puri Jagan, ISM has music by Anup Rubens and is up for release this Friday.

Kalyan Ram Ism Plan for Dasara release
Saying that Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is playing the role of a gutsy journalist in 'Ism', Puri Jagannadh has said that it will be a "powerful film" in his career. A surprise look was released today to mark the 60th birthday of Kalyan Ram's father Hari Krishna. The look sees the hero sporting a six-pack abs look. The film is mostly done but for patch work with the shooting of a long schedule in Spain. The film is slated for a grand Dasara release. Aditi Arya is the female lead. Jagapathi Babu has a key role. Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, JP Reddy, Ali, Eeshwari Rao, Vennela Kishore, Banda Raghu, Shatru, Ajay Ghosh, Srikanth, Kotesh Madhava, Nayan and Ravi are part of the cast. Music-directed by Anup Rubens, it has cinematography by Mukesh. Editing is by Junaid. Lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla. Action choreography is by Jani.
