We had already reported that State Minorities Commission has issued a notice to Nannaku Prematho team demanding a reply for the allegedly objectionable posters of Nannaku Prematho as it has Prophet Mohammed and Quran Symbols. As per the latest reports, the team of Nannaku Prematho reacted to the notices and offered an unconditional apology to the concerned community. They also released a statement of apology and asked apology from the particular members who got hurt with the poster.They mentioned that they are not against any community or religious sentiments of any religion. They further added that this mistake happened without their knowledge and also assured that they would changed the background of the posters with immediate effect.Well, with this apology, Nannaku Prematho team puts a full stop to the entire issue. Meanwhile, the post-production works are progressing at a jet speed and is all set to hit the screens on January 13th.
'Nannaku Prematho' joins $1 mn club at US box office
Actor Jr. NTR-starrer Telugu drama "Nannaku Prematho", an emotional drama between a father and son, has entered the $1 million club in the US in just three days since its release. "The film has crossed the $1 million collection milestone at the US box office. This is the first film of the year to reach there in such a short span of time," read a statement from CineGalaxy Inc, the overseas distributor of the film. Directed by Sukumar, the film also features Rakul Preet Singh, Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad in important roles. In India, since its release on Wednesday, the film has raked in over Rs.30 crore. "It's most likely expected to collect over Rs.50 crore by the weekend. Despite mixed reviews, the film has managed to impress film goers and NTR's fans too," trade analyst Trinath told. The film is produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad and distributed by Reliance Entertainment.

Actor Jr. NTR's Telugu outing "Nannaku Prematho", despite mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike, has managed to earn over Rs.50 crore in the worldwide ticket window in just two weeks. "We are really happy that the film has entered the Rs.50 crore club. It's doing really well at the box-office, especially in the US. I'm glad audiences have accepted a novel attempt. I can't thank them enough," film producer B.V.S.N. Prasad told. Directed by Sukumar, the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad in important roles. Prasad hopes the film will soon enter the Rs.100 crore club. "The way it's performing, it's most likely to rake in over Rs.100 crore very soon," he said.

8 crs Subsidy For Nannaku Prematho
Youngtiger NTR'S last outing Nannaku Prematho has raked in more than Rs 50 cr worldwide share and it turned as biggest grosser in NTR's career.Now it is coming out that the film makers have bagged eight more crores extra profit for the film. Its known that most of the film was shot in Europe. As per reports the amount was returned to producers from the country tourism boards in form of subsidies. To attract tourist inflow in those countries most foreign countries offer tax sops for international filmmakers in the form of VAT refund. It will depend on the location and the amount of budget spent on the location. Now Nannaku Prematho has reportedly got nearly 8 crores refund from the tourist boards of UK and Spain where the film was majorly shot.
RansiTech bags distribution rights of 'Nannaku Prematho' in Britain
RansiTech Solutions Ltd - a new entrant into the overseas cinema distribution market - is making its debut with actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr. (NTR)-starrer Telugu drama "Nannaku Prematho" for which they have bagged the distribution rights across Britain. In an official statement, RansiTech revealed that they're glad to be distributing the film which releases worldwide on January 8, 2016 as a Sankranti festival treat and will have premieres on January 7. NTR's new look in the Sukumar directorial as seen in the first look teaser has been the talking point so far. With a supporting cast of Rakul Preet Singh, Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu amongst several other well known faces, the film is going to be NTR's biggest release yet. Having shot for major portions of the film in Britain, the film's team will soon begin shooting at the idyllic locations of Spain.
