Writer-turned-director Anil Ravipudi has been in news of late. While reports had it that he would be teaming up with NTR for his next, looks like it may not happen immediately as NTR has few other plans in his mind. Meanwhile, Anil too not just confined to NTR as in the past he waited many for long including Vakkantham Vamsi. Now film Nagar grapevine is that Anil is toying with the idea of teaming up with Varun Tej. Already Anil has reportedly taken Naga Babu's appointment and narrated a story to him which is likely to materialise if all goes well. Varun Tej is presently working with Sreenu Vaitla in Mister after which he may start the film with Anil. While Pataas was commercial success at BO, Supreme was an average grosser and criticised for its routine story. Anil this time is looking forward to score a big hit. Let's see whether Anil is third time lucky or not.

Telugu girl Tejaswi Madivada is waiting for right break to happen to her career in Telugu film industry. Though some of her recent films like Jatha Kalise have disappointed her, she's pinning hopes on Soggadu now. While shooting for a song for one of her upcoming movies "Nanna, Nenu, Na Boyfriends" that features Hebbah Patel in the lead, Tejaswi is doing her first big dance. Straight from the sets, she shares her hotness and no doubt she's smoking too spicy already. Hoping for a big break, Tejaswi is expecting this film along with Soggadu (Hunter remake) will change her fortunes forever.
Raghava Lawrencce in 'Pataas' Tamil remake
Actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrencce, who is basking in the success of his latest Tamil directorial "Kanchana 2", is all set to play the lead in yet-untitled Tamil remake of recent Telugu hit "Pataas". "I'm taking a break from direction. I'll be acting in the remake of 'Pataas'. It was a fun film and I'm going to love working in it. We are on the lookout for a suitable director for this project," Lawrencce told. Producer RB Chaudhary has bagged the film's remake rights. A sleeper hit, "Pataas" revolved around a corrupt policeman who gets changed for good due to an incident. Meanwhile, Lawrencce has a few scripts ready for some of the leading heroes of southern cinema. "I have two scripts ready for superstar Rajinikanth. I'm working on a script for actor Pawan Kalyan. As soon as I complete it, I intend to go and meet him. I'm also getting ready with the next part of 'Kanchana'," he said.
Pattasu is not about any bang
After Kovai Brothers, director Sakthi Chidambaram is quickly on to his next. Titled Pattasu, the movie features Sibiraj, Vikranth, Madhumitha and Chaya Singh. The shooting for the movie is on at a rapid pace. The movie features Chaya Singh in the role of a psychology student and Madhumitha in the role of a music teacher. The movie features Sibiraj opposite Chaya Singh and Vikranth paired with Madhumitha. The movie is all about romance between a couple. Vivek plays a cameo in the movie. It is quite a typical Sakthi Chidambaram stuff sure to draw humor-loving audience to the theatres. Though titled Pattasu, it would not be action-packed stuff. It would have all ingredients to attract youngsters, says Sakthi Chidambaram.
Pattasu ready for a blast
Producer ' director Sakthi Chidambaram has completed his Vyapari starring SJ Suryah, Malavika, Tamanna and Namitha. Vyapari would hit the screen soon. Meanwhile, Sakthi Chidambaram has planned to resume shooting for his movie Pattasu. The movie stars Sibiraj and Vikranth in the lead roles. Now with Sibiraj's career looking up after the success of Lee and Vikranth busy with a couple of movies including Muthal Kanavae and Ninaithu Ninathu Parthen, Sakthi Chidambaram is keen to resume shooting for Pattasu. Vikranth has Madhumitha playing his heroine and Chaya Singh plays Sibiraj's love interest.
