The evergreen hit number 'Nalamthana Nalamthana' in 'Thillana Mohanambal' will get new. The song will be remixed by music director Dhina for the movie 'Silambattam'. The movie features Silambarasan in the lead role and is directed by cinematographer Saravanan. Silambarasan is getting ready with the release of 'Kaalai', directed by Tharun Gopi. His 'Kettavan' has been temporarily shelved and is expected to commence next March.
Vignesh Shivan's retort to Simbu fans!
Recently director Vignesh Shivan was at the receiving end from a few Simbu fans in social media. They had misunderstood his talks during the launch of first look poster and title track of Remo. His response in his Twitter handle is quoted below: “I have not mentioned that Anirudh sir introduced me to lyrics! Please don't make this up like that! I have said he has always supported me from the struggling times .. STR sir gave me my first film yes But after the film, I went through a struggling phase and many people have helped me cross that including Simbu sir himself.. At that time Anirudh used to gimme work opportunities through lyrics n music videos which kept me active n take care of my family.. Dhanush sir later gave me another chance for living through NaanumRowdyDhaan n I have really worked my way here .. It would take 15 minutes for me to say the whole history in the shortest form n ReMo stage had only a minute for me and I thanked the team around there n it's their stage! Vignesh Shivan Clarifies Doubts On His ‘Remo’ Speech, Writes A Letter To Simbu Fans!
In the recently held first look launch event of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film Remo, filmmaker-writer Vignesh Shivan had thanked Anirudh and the makers of the film. Vignesh, who has penned a song in Remo, said Anirudh had kept him busy when he was struggling to find new projects and that's how he became an affluent lyricist. Though his speech, that lasted for not more than 2 minutes, wasn't controversial, ardent fans of Simbu have taken offence as Simbu was the one who introduced Vignesh as a director and lyricist. Looks like they were upset that the Naanum Rowdydhaan director failed to thank Simbu, so much so that, Vignesh had to clarify things. "I have not mentioned that Anirudh sir introduced me to lyrics! Titled Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, the film is a breezy love story bankrolled by AM Ratnam. The film is likely to go on floors next month. The latest buzz is that the director Vignesh Shivan has once again roped in Anirudh Ravichandran as the music director for this project. An official announcement is expected soon.
