Sri Ramadasu is going to create history on 29th of this month when it is going to be displayed on IMAX screen with 12000 watt sound capacity. It would be the first Indian film to be displayed on IMAX Screen. Ramesh Prasad, the owner of IMAX informed that the sophisticated equipment required for this purpose has already been imported. IMAX Theatre was started 2 1/2 years ago, but, till now only 3D and Hollywood films were displayed. Prasad told, Sri Ramadasu is no doubt is an extraordinary film and if we see the film on such a big screen, the effect will be entirely different. Nagarjuna's performance, Raghavendra Rao's direction, Gopalreddy's photography, Keeravani's music are going to create sensation on IMAX screen. The scenes like Lord Rama's coming, sending Panchamukha Anjaneya for Ramadasu will appear to be real and the audience will definitely get excited." Akkineni Nagarjuna said "I feel very happy that "Sri Ramadasu" is going to be displayed on IMAX and it is definitely a memorable film for me". Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor expressed his view that when we see "Sri Ramadasu" on such a big screen like IMAX we will go to some other world.
Sri Krishna 2006 Audio A big hit
The word of mouth was encouraging on the audio of D. Ramanaidu's latest film 'Sri Krishna 2006', which was released recently. Srikanth, Venu, Bramhanandam, Gauri Munjal and Ramya Krishna are in the lead. Eminent writer Vijayendra Prasad is making debut as Director. Talkie part of the film was completed. Shooting of remaining two songs is going on at Bangkok. At the same time, post-production work is on the fast track. Srilekha scored music for the film and it is her 11th film on this banner. Producer D Ramanaidu expressed satisfaction over the tremendous response to the audio as well as ringtones. He said that the movie could be categorized as an entertaining one with two guys trying to marry one girl.
Sri Satyanarayana Swamy is 70% complete
The film '?ÂÂ?Sri Satyanarayana Swamy'?ÂÂ?, produced by Karthik Films and directed by Nagesh Naradashi, and based on the life and history of famous temple '?ÂÂ?Sri Satyanarayana Swami'?ÂÂ? in Annavaram is 70% complete along with talkie and three songs. It stars Suman, in the lead role of Sri Satyanarayana Swami. Actor Suman said, '?ÂÂ?The life and history of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy is world renowned. Every Hindu household, celebrate it in a grand way by organizing a big pooja on the occasion of wedding, housing warming ceremony and many other auspicious occasions. All the family members, who participate in the pooja, fast for the remainder of the day after the pooja is over for the well-being of the family. I am playing the title role of '?ÂÂ?Sri Satyanarayana Swamy'?ÂÂ? in the film. To go along with it, I will be seen in nine different get-ups in the film. Actor Bhanuchander is playing the role of a king in the film and Ravali is playing role of his wife. Karthik is playing the role of a Son-in-law of a moneylender. Actor Rajkumar is playing the role of sage Narada in the film. The producers of the film are Madhu Natikar and Rajeshwararao.
Sri Satyanarayana Swamy to be released in November third week
Popular artiste Suman, who enthralled the audiences with his impeccable performance in Godly roles in 'Annamayya' and 'Sri Ramadasu' is playing the lead in 'Sri Satyanarayana Swamy'. He has 10 different get-ups, besides playing the title role in this film. The producers are planning to release the film in the third week of November. Smt Radha is the producer, while Nagesh Naradasi wielded the megaphone for this devotional flick. The film also has Bhanuchander and Ravali in key roles, while Vandemataram Srinivas gave melodious tunes to all the songs in this film.
Sri Vidhya passes away
Veteran south Indian actress Sri Vidhya passed away at a hospital in Kerala on Thursday. Sri Vidhya was diagnosed with advanced stage of cancer and was under intensive medical supervision at Sri Avittam Thirunal hospital, Tiruvandrum. The once sought-after heroine of Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam industry, Sri Vidhya had acted in several hundred movies since early 1970s and had won several awards and accolades. It may be recalled that she was recently rushed to a hospital while she fell ill while shooting for the Malayalam serial Amma Thampurati. She was given intensive medical treatment. Shot to fame playing powerful female roles in veteran director K Balachander's films, her films like Apoorva Ragangal won her greater appreciation. After playing heroine for over a decade, she settled to do character roles. She paired with the likes of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan in the early stages of her career. Later, she even played their mother in few movies. Films like Poonagai Mannan, Thalapathy, Aboorva Sagodharargal, and Kadhalukku Mariyadhai were blockbusters. She last acted in Tamil in London starring Prashanth in the lead role in 2005. Daughter of popular classical singer M L Vasantha Kumari, Sri Vidhya had sung the number Sandai Bajarau in Amaran set to tunes by Adhithyan. It is a double tragedy in Kollywood for veteran actress Padmini passed away just a couple of weeks ago.
Sri Lalitha Kalanjali Productions plans 'Sri Sri Sri Valli Srinivas'
Super Good Films is known for the best-ever family subjects. Almost all the artistes and technicians dream to play some role in that banner. Vakada Appa Rao, is the executive producer for all the films that were produced on the banner since its inception. Now, he turned a producer with the blessings of RB Choudary of Super Good Films and launched a banner called 'Sri Lalitha Kalanjali Productions'. As the first-ever venture on the banner, he had produced 'Maharathi' with Balakrishna in the lead and it is slated for release on January 11. Now, Vakada Appa Rao is making efforts to start his next venture on the banner and also registered a title 'Sri Sri Sri Valli Srinivas'. It is reliably learnt that noted poster designer Ramesh Varma is likely to wield the megaphone for this film.
