Shiva, Santhanam starrer Ya Ya teaser trailer has been unveiled and it is earning good response which is packed with hilarious scenes. Directed by first timer Rajasekaran, former assistant of director Rajesh and produced by MR Murugaraj, Ya Ya promises to be a laugh riot. I Rajasekharan has worked as an associate to films Siva Manasula Sakthi, Boss Engira Baskaran and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. Actresses Dhansika and Sandhya are pairing up with Shiva and Santhanam respectively in the film. The shoot has been packed up and post-production works are in progress. The audio is planned to be launched on June 19. Vijay Ebenezer composed the tunes.
Aish dilemma: Mani ya Shankar?
Well now this one is going on and on like a never ending story. There was so much rumour coming out if the Bachchan bahu will agree to act opposite the superstar of Tamilnadu, Rajinikanth in the multi-crore project of director Shankar. All the rumours were put to rest when the actress herself gave an interview to a TV channel confirming her presence in the sci-fi film 'Robot'. Well there is rumour doing the rounds once again in the Bollywood as well as Kollywood circles whether the actress will act in the film. This time for a different reason. Mani Rathnam is planning to make a romantic flick with Aish and hubby Abhi playing the leads. There is also news circling that Mani's project that is yet untitled might start well before Shankar's and the heroine might end up with her dates for both these big projects clashing with each other. What a predicament? Two fantastic projects with two giants, and a clash of dates! There are also other stories doing the rounds in the cine circles that Shankar is planning to finish the film in two years and Aish is finding it difficult to commit to a film for that long a time. Well, we hope Aish is able to come to a conclusion regarding the dates, so that it will be a double treat for all her fans in Bollywood as well as in Kollywood!
Zubeen of 'Ya Ali' fame sings-composes in 'Strings'
Though all the tracks of 'Gangster' have been popular with the music lovers, one song that has caught the fancy of one and all is 'Ya Ali'. Sung by Zubeen Garg, the song has been a rage all over the country and overseas and still getting good sales for the album. Zubeen has been on the musical scene for quite some time now, but it is with 'Ya Ali' that he is being heard all over, whether it is music channels, radio, blazing car stereos or home music systems. Now his fans get an opportunity to hear more of him as he composes and sings some songs for the upcoming film 'Strings'. 'Aum' and 'Rama o Rama' are the two numbers that are stated to be the highlight of the music album. Director Manisha Jha [who earlier made 'Praan Jaaye Par Shaan Na Jaaye'] is all praises for the efforts of Zubeen whom he fondly calls the biggest 'jugaad' for his film that he could have laid his hands upon.
