Rajashekar As Young Hero's Villain
Jagapathi Babu's stint as villain has inspired many senior heroes to turn baddies. Senior hero Rajashekar is the latest hero to join in villain league. From past few months we have been hearing reports about Villain roles of Rajashekar but till now there was no official confirmation about them. Now it is coming out that Director Sriwas has approached the actor with a powerful villain role for his upcoming film with actor Gopichand. Rajashekar has reportedly agreed to play the villain role and the role is going to be very powerful and is tipped as one of the major attractions of the film.The film will be produced on the director's home banner Vedashwa creations. Rajasekhar's films off late were not successful and the opportunities for him has been reduced considerably. So the actor is planning to start his second innings as villain. Rajasekhar played negative roles during the initial days of his career. He has appeared in roles with negative shades in films like Aahuti and Talambralu.
Anushka slims down for Rudhramadevi
Southern actress Anushka Shetty, who is busy shooting for upcoming Telugu period-drama "Rudhramadevi", is expected to shed as much as 15 kg for her role in the film. "She (Anushka) has been advised to shed at least 10 to 15 kg for the film. In the next two months, she will undergo a strict weight regime to perfect the look for the film," a source from the film's unit said. Anushka, however, will not lose too much of weight. "She has another period flick lined up. It is important that the weight loss is under control. To ensure that she stays in shape, she will spend more time on yoga than on physical workout," the source added. "Rudhramadevi" is being directed and produced by Gunasekhar, and Anushka will essay the role of Rani Rudhramadevi of Kakatiya dynasty. The film features an ensemble cast of Rana Daggubati, Aditi Chengappa, Vikramjeet Virk, Nathalia Kaur, Hamsa Nandhini, Prakash Raj, Baba Sehegal, Krishnam Raju, Ahuti Prasad, Jayaprakash Reddy and Adithya Menon. Illayaraja will compose the music for the film, which will have cinematography by Ajay Vincent. Meanwhile, Anushka will soon start working on Telugu period-drama "Baahubali" with filmmaker S.S Rajamouli.
Sumanth New Movie is Deggaraga Dooramga
Hero Sumanth's new Telugu movie is titled Deggaragaa Dooramgaa. This Deggaragaa Dooramgaa movie is directed by Ravi Chavali and produced by Sambhasiva Rao under Sudha Cinema. Vedika of Baanam fame is playing heroine beside Sumanth in Deggaragaa Dooramgaa Telugu movie. Other casting includes Sindhu Thulani, Bramhanandam, Raghu Babu, Aahuti Prasad, etc. Raghu Kunche is scoring the music while Surendar Reddy as cinematographer. Deggaragaa Dooramgaa movie is expected to be a romantic thriller and the expectations would be pretty after Sumanth's performance in Golconda High School. Deggaragaa Dooramgaa movie has almost completed shooting the talkie part with only climax scenes and songs shoot left. Deggaragaa Dooramgaa was shot on a single schedule till now.
Rana, Genelia Naa Istam launched!
Rana Daggubati, Genelia starrer Naa Ishtam was launched on Friday at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. Boyapati Srinu gave the clap for the first shot, which was picturised on Rana. Suresh Babu switched on the camera and Sukumar has directed it. Later, Dr.D. Ramanaidu handed over the script to director Prakash Tholeti. The regular shooting of the film has been started from Friday and the entire shooting will be wrapped up in three schedules. Producer Paruchuri Kireeti says Naa Ishtam is a feel good youthful entertainer and will standout in Rana’s career. Naa Ishtam is being made under United Movies banner and Chakri is composing the music for the film. Other prominent roles in the film will be essayed by Bramhanandam, Harshavardhan, Naaser, Raghubabu, Aahuti Prasad, Ali, Ajay, Bharath Uttej.
Will Allari Naresh says ‘Aha naa Pellanta’?
Box office consistable hero Allari Naresh looks like on continuous spree in signing up new films this year with hand full of projects. He has signed up a new film under AK Entertainments banner that produced a super hit film like ‘Bindaas’ with Manchu Manoj in the lead.Producer Sunkara Ramabrahmam is going to introduce director Veerabrahmam with this film who worked as co-director for directors like EVV Satyanarayana in films such as ‘Nenu Premisthunnanu’, ‘Kanyadaanam’ and ‘Chaala Bagundhi’, for director Teja in ‘Nuvvu Nenu’, ‘Jayam’ and ‘Nijam’, for Krishna Vamsi in ‘Danger’, for Jayanth C Paranjee in ‘Shankar Dada MBBS’, for Karunakaran in ‘Happy’, etc. The latest news is that the title ‘Aha naa Pellanta’ is under consideration for this project. ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ is the title of an evergreen film directed by veteran comedy director Jandhyala. Now the same title has been sent for approval to this new film in the film chamber. The final confirmation is yet to be made. The film has Ritu Barmecha, a new comer playing the love interest of Naresh in this film. The movie is currently shooting in and around the locations of Hyderabad. The film will have real star Srihari playing a key role and other cast and crew includes Ahuti Prasad, Nagineedu, Brahmanandam, MS Narayana, Dharmavarapu, Sravan, Aravind, Rajitha, etc. The heroine for Naresh in this movie is yet to be confirmed. Raghu Kunche will be scoring the music for the film. It is said to be a comedy entertainer.
