Actress Anasuya Bharadwaj, mostly known for her cameo performances so far, plays a powerful police officer in upcoming Telugu venture "Kshanam". The film is directed by debutant Ravikanth Perepu and produced by PVP Cinema. "She plays an honest police officer. It's a full-length role that even gave her the opportunity to perform some action," a source from the film's unit told. Anasuya, in order to play her role, closely studied a few women police officers. "It's with a lot of preparation she accepted the role, which required her to perform with restraint. Audiences are going to be surprised by her performance," the source said. The film, which has the perfect blend of suspense and romance, features Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma in the lead roles.
Anasuya bats for a Greener planet
Top anchor and now trying her luck on silver screen, Anasuya feels that people should make efforts to keep this planet green. In a series of tweets, she has actually requested all to go more greenery and advised people to learn say the word 'its enough'.
