As both the notable Friday, December 16, releases - Dil Raju's 'Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends' and Prudhvi's 'Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu' have opened poorly, Ram Charan's 'Dhruva' has got another week of unopposed run at box office.As per trade reports, while MEK has registered insignificant numbers, the names of Dil Raju and Habah Patel managed to bring par openings for NNNB in the Telugu states. The sustainability of the film at box office however is doubtful amidst poor word of mouth.Despite good promotions, big names and sizeable premiere shows, NNNB collected a paltry $2,148 at US box office. With not so favorable reviews, it is tough for this romantic entertainer to attract overseas audiences to theatres from hereon.Dil Raju has reportedly sold this film to a prominent US distributor as part of a multi-film deal costing Rs 18 Cr. The distributor must now rely on other Dil Raju films to recover his hefty investment.Interim, after raking in around Rs 41 Cr worldwide share, Dhruva has opened to significant occupancy in its second week. We need to see how far this action thriller capitalizes on the wavering new releases.
First Celebrity Guest to be questioned by Chiru
All eyes were on the first episode of 'Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu' Season 4 as it marks the debut of Chiranjeevi into the Small Screen. Everyone is curious to know who will be the first Celebrity Guest of MEK 4. As per reliable sources, The outgoing host Akkineni Nagarjuna will take the hot seat in the first episode of the new edition. And Megastar will be in a position to make King feel the heat now. It's in this episode, Nag would pass the responsibility he shared while hosting MEK Season 1/2/3 to Chiru. Of course, The TRP of MEK 4 maiden episode is gonna set a new record as two Telugu Superstars of 3rd generation will appear on the Television screen. Ever since news of Mega Star Chiranjeevi going to make his small screen debut with Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu season 4 is made official, all eyes are on his maiden show. Nag who has presented MEK seasons 1,2&3 has agreed to come as the special guest for the inauguration show of season 4. This show is expected to see a smooth transition of MEK from Nag to Chiru and with both the superstars of 3rd generation of Tollywood actors being present, naturally the show is expected to have a massive start by shattering all the TRP records. This show would be recorded very soon.Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is busy shooting for his 150th film Khaidi No. 150. Produced by Dil Raju, this entertainer is reportedly targeting December 23rd release, Christmas weekend.Sapthagiri, who has become a star comedian in the past two years, has turned hero with 'Sapthagiri Express'. The small budget film has made big noise on social media after Pawan Kalyan graced the audio launch event of the comic entertainer. Reportedly, makers are planning to release this film on 23rd December.Interim, the release date of 'Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu' has already been announced as 23rd December. 30 years Prudhvi aka 'Boiling Star' Prudhvi is playing a parallel lead role in this film produced by the makers of 'Bengal Tiger'.With these two films starring the top comedians releasing on the same date as of Nani's 'Nenu Local', the box office game looks interesting. Although the Nani and Keerthy Suresh starrer has a clear advantage, the image of Sapthagiri and Prudhvi can pose a threat if those films receive positive talk.The Telugu dubbed version of Aamir Khans' eagerly awaited 'Dangal', titled 'Yuddham', is also releasing on 23rd December in the Telugu states.

Chiranjeevi is the Highest Paid host!!!
Believe it or not, Megastar Chiranjeevi is the highest paid show host now as per news coming from Telugu tinsel town. Very soon he's all set to debut as shot host with Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu program and here goes the news. As per reports, Nagarjuna has earlier took nearly 7 lakhs to host each show of MEK and that's the highest price ever, while busy anchors like Suma and Anasuya doesn't get more than a lakh. And then Chiranjeevi has come, MAA TV and Star have bet so big that they are paying him 10 lakhs. We have to see how their confidence works, and everyone is confident that Megastar will do magic.
