Jaggesh is Software Ganda Now

Jaggesh who has not signed any new films off late has silently signed a new film called 'Software Ganda'. As the title itself suggests, the film is an out and out comedy and will be made by new comers. The film is likely to start from November end. Jaggesh says he is open to acting and is waiting for the elections. 'I am an aspirant for the upcoming Member of Parliament elections. I would defintely likely to contest for the elections. I am waiting for the party's orders. I would sign films or start production only after I get party's orders. If I get a ticket to contest, then I will concentrate on the elections. If I don't get a ticket, then I will act and produce films after the elections are over' says Jaggesh. Meanwhile, two of Jaggesh's films are struck half way. While 'Neerdose' is struck due to various controversies, 'Agraja' is waiting for Darshan's dubbing. 'Cool Ganesha' is the only film which is completed and the film is likely to release some time in December.

Ganga Cauvery from Himalayas!

Akshaya Productions maiden venture 'Ganga Cauvery' shot at the highest peak surroundings of this country starring Akshay, Mallika Kapoor, Mahi, Thara, two famous journalists Ganesh Kasargod and B.Ganapathi has returned from 15 days shooting in the beginning of snow fall at Himalaya. The 150 crew that went to Himalaya held the muhurut of the film 'Ganga Cauvery' at Gangotri the genesis place of Ganga River. The shooting was held at Harshil village, Bagodi, Gangotri, Batawadi, Bajora, Uttar Kashi, Haridwar and Hrishikesh says debut director Vishnukanth. The 15 scenes, two songs and two bit songs cost Rs.35 to 40 lakhs for the producer for the first schedule. Producer Venkatappa is brimming with happiness because the nature supported the unit to shoot the required portions. When some of the Hindi films found it difficult to shoot the Kannada film team had the great opportunity he said. This will be a visual treat to the audience of Karnataka feels Venkatappa. Actress Thara, journalist Ganesh Kasargod, lyricist and music director K.Kalyan, hero Akshay shared the shooting experience with the media on Sunday evening.

'Ganga Cauvery' brisk shooting

After completing fifteen days schedule at Himalaya region in the minus degree temperature at places like Harshal village, Bagodi, Gangotri, Batavadi, Baguru, Uttar Kashi, Haridwar, Hrishikesh producer R.V.Venkatappa's expensive venture 'Ganga Cauvery' is now shooting at a private house in Mysore ring road. It was a marriage invitation card getting final touches scene where yesteryears actress Roopa Devi, Ananthnag, Chitra Shenoy, Ramesh Bhat, hero Akshay and heroine Mallika Kapoor took part in the comedy sequence. Vishnukanth who played 'Dr.Ambedkar' title role in the past is independently directing this film. He has written the story and screenplay while B.A.Madhu of over 100 films has penned the dialogues. Two senior journalists Ganesh Kasargod and B.Ganapathi are playing key roles in this film produced by Akshaya Productions. H.C.Venu is the cameraman and K.Kalyan has penned the songs and scored the music.

Ganja at 'Accident' audio release

The singer with attention-grabbing touch Kunal Ganjawala hitting the charts from his song in Puneeth Rajakumar's 'Akash' (Neene Neene Mansella Neene..) has become the darling of Kannada film music lovers. The other day he graced the audio release of Ramesh Aravind third directorial venture 'Accident' at Le Meredian in Bangalore. Ganjawala prepared himself for the occasion and delivered the song from the movie Jigidhu Banthu Preethi Jhinke song. The guests at this function demanded once more of the song for which Ganjawala obliged. Addressing on this occasion Ganjawala said Kannada is his second language and love to be here singing very frequently. It was a well organized audio release function from Vishista Productions. The thanks giving to those worked for the film 'Accident' was made by producer G.Raghunath. He has shown how a function should be organized in style, glamour and glitz. In the two hours drawn out audio release function producer G.Raghunath disclosed that he wants to continue his friendship with actor cum director Ramesh Aravind for the rest of his life. He wants to take up more big ventures in future. Thanking the way G.Raghunath of Vishista production thinks big Ramesh Aravind on this colorful audio release function said the cooperation he received from the software professionals from this film has filled the weakness of his earlier two films that is marketing. A number of corporate companies like Air Tel, Hungama Mobile, Zee Kannada, Gopalan Mall, on the rocks, movie branding, WiFi voice network, Radio Mirchi has added to the expansion of the market of this film. Ramesh Aravind introduced the 11 newcomers who have worked for this film and specially thanked Rajendra Karanth as he received Nataka Academy award recently. One of the songs in this film is picked from veteran writer B.R.Lakshmanan Rao's treasure. Baa Maleye Baa Ashtu Birusaagi Baradhiru'is the poem of BRL written twenty years ago is used in 'Accident' Kannada film. The song is shot on Ramesh Aravind and sung by the most prominent and mellifluous singer Sonu Nigam. Chytra, Avinash, Kunal Ganjawala rendered a song each and three songs of the film were screened on this occasion. 'Accident' a thriller has Rickey Key's music, veteran G.S.Bhasker's cinematography. Ramesh Aravind, Rekha, Pooja Gandhi, Mohan, Thilak, Rajendra Karanth, Sudharani, Radio jockey Balaji, radiologist from London Mahesh Longa, ace director Dinesh Baboo in the lead roles, 'Accident' is the first Kannada film that can boast of voice portal is releasing all over Karnataka in April first week.

'Ganga Cauvery' ready

Akshay Productions maiden venture starring Akshay with Mallika Kapoor and Maayi in the lead roles has completed all post production work and ready to appear before the censor board. This film took off at Himalaya region and continued shooting in some of the exotic locations. The birth of Ganga and Cauvery rivers the most sacred ones could be seen in this film. Cinematography by H.C.Venu is the most talked about issue in the unit of 'Ganga Cauvery' and also at the recording and dubbing theatres. R.V.Venkatappa has invested a few crores on this film struggled hard shooting in various locations. This is all for the sake of his son Akshay. The opening song of this film is shot at Bangkok. That is the introduction song. Vishnukanth shot in to fame from 'Dr.Ambedkar' film some time ago has written the story, screenplay and directed the film. B.A.Madhu has written the dialogues, Five Star Ganesh has done the choreography, Kaurava Venkatesh handled the stunts and Purushottam has done admirable job in the assistance direction department says producer Venkatappa. Ananthnag, Roopa Devi, Thara, Sharan, Chitra Shenoy, Ramesh Bhat, senior journalists Ganesh Kasargod and B.Ganapathi are in the cast of 'Ganga Cauvery'.

Ganga ready to flow

Ganga, starring the National award winner for the best actress Tara, is all set to storm the festivals. The film on the Joginis in Telengana region is very sensitive and serious movie. Produced under Maithi Kalamandir banner by Sekhar Yalamanchi, the movie is primarily aimed for the festival circuit. A fact vouched by the film's producer himself. Inspired by a song of Ande Sri, Ganga is directed by Krishnamurthy (the original director Vemu is out of the project now). Venu Gopal, Priyanka, Jayaprakash Reddy, Suman, Eeswari Rao, Chandra Mohan, Babu Mohan, Ranganath, Raghubabu, Venu Madhav are also in the cast. Koti has strummed the music. The songs will be released by this month. The movie will be released in August.
