Nandamuri Balakrishna’s most prestigious project ever - 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' - is proceeding with its shoot at a brisk pace. The historical is presented by Bibo Srinivas, produced on First Frame Entertainment banner by Y Rajeev Reddy and Jagarlamudi Saibabu. It's directed by Krish, whose last film 'Kanche' won the National award. After completing schedules in Morocco, Hyderabad, and Georgia, the unit is set to shoot in Madhya Pradesh starting from today. In this 18-day-schedule, Shriya Saran and Hema Malini, who respectively play Balakrishna's wife and mother, will participate. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad. Art Director is Bupesh Bhupathi. Cinematography is by Gnanashekar. Lyrics are by Sirivennela Seetharama Shastry. Dialogues are by Burra Sai Madhav of Gopala Gopala and Kanche fame. Fights are by Ram Lakshman. Costumes are by the three-time National Award-winning Neetu Lulla, whose noticeable works include 'Devdas' and 'Jodha Akbar'. Neetu Lulla is working closely with director Krish, cameraman Gnanashekar VS and the art department "to create the costume designs of right texture and color. She has conducted a wide research on art and culture that was prevalent during the times of Satavahana (78-100 AD). Neetu Lulla also collaborated with world’s best jewelry makers to sketch the authentic model samples and preparing jewels".
Gautamiputra Satakarni First Look Teaser on Dasara
As per reports coming from Balayya's 100th film makers, there is going to be a fantastic treat on coming Dasara festival eve. From a time, Balayya is working quite hard, transforming himself into Gautamiputra Satakarni, the first ever grand emperor from Telugu lands. Directed by Krish, the film tells epic history with Hema Malini playing King's mother and Shriya as his queen. On October 7th, during Dasara eve, we hear that the first teaser of the film will be unveiled to the world. As the film happens to be historic one, everyone is eagerly waiting for it.

Gautamiputra Satakarni teaser clocks majestic million
Call it the stamina of Balakrishna, magic of visuals or the sheer popularity of the historical, the teaser of 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' has clocked a million hits since yesterday. In no time, #PSKTeaserBlast, #NBK100 and #GautamiputraSatakarni hash tags trended on social media for hours on end. The excitement was palpable among the fans. The teaser was released by Hema Malini through her Twitter account. There is a reason why Hema Malini was chosen to release the teaser. It's because the mother played a spiritual role in the life and victories of the Satavahana king and it would be befitting to have the teaser released by an actress playing that character. Gautamiputra Satakarni’s audio soon in December
Much awaited prestigious landmark film of Balakrishna ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ has been nearing its completion and now the makers are planning the audio release. After the first look and teaser of this mighty Telugu warrior King’s film, the buzz has touched another level and fans are eager to watch this film. As the release date is announced for Pongal of next year, the audio of this movie is planned to get organized in the first week of December. Along with the audio, the trailer of this movie will be unveiled. Chirantan Bhatt who has provided stunning background and melodious music for ‘Kanche’ has been providing the score for this flick. Meanwhile, the director Krish is busy with his team to wrap up the film’s entire shoot in a couple of weeks to hand over the rushes to graphics team for adding visual and special effects. Along with Balayya, Shriya Saran and Hema Malini are cast in this prestigious flick.
