Pawan Kalyan, Venkatesh and Shriya Saran starring Gopala Gopala is one of the most awaited Telugu films. Latest we hear that Gemini TV has bagged the satellite rights of the movie. Its a nice move by Gemini, after they topped TRP's with their recent attempt of telecasting a 13 hour live star studded program 'Memu Saitam', a fund raiser for Hud Hud Victims. As per reports, producer Suresh Babu has sold out the TV rights of Gopala Gopala as a three films package including Venkatesh's Drishyam and Sunil's Bheemavaram Bullodu for an whooping price of Rs.20 Cr. Co-produced by Sharath Marar on Suresh Productions and North Star Entertainments, Gopala Gopala is being directed by Dolly. This Anoop Rubens musical is slated for grand Sankranthi release in 2015.
Gopala Gopala Actor undergoes treatment in LA
Yesteryear Superstar Mithun Chakraborty is facing few health issues since a while and he currently recuperating in Los Angeles.Sources close to him say, Mithun Chakraborty injured his back while shooting for a stunt sequence in 'Luck' (2009). While jumping off a helicopter, He mistimed it and ended up injuring himself. Since then, He is facing issues with his back and the pain was unbearable a month ago. Cancelling all of his assignments, He has flown to Los Angeles two weeks ago for the much needed relief.Mithun's Manager said the Veteran Actor had a hairline fracture in his back but its not too serious and there is no need of surgery. He informs Mithun would return to India by the end of October.80s blockbuster 'Disco Dancer' earned him Nationwide fame. He played a pivotal role in 'Gopala Gopala'. Power Star Pawan Kalyan is back to the sets of Gopala Gopala and is shooting in Hyderabad, which is no more a news now. Latest we hear that the Jalsa star is shaking leg for his introduction song for the movie. As said earlier, Gopala Gopala producers have bought a specially designed cruiser for over Rs. 6 lakhs for the movie and Powerstar will be seen riding this new 'Hyosung 650' bike in the film. Directed by Dolly, Gopala Gopala casts Pawan Kalyan as lord Krishna, while Victory Venkatesh plays the lead role as an antique dealer and Shriya does his wife role. Madhu Shalini, Tejaswini and others played key roles in the film. Jointly produced by Suresh Productions and Sharath Marar, Gopala Gopala is the official Telugu remake of the Bollywood film 'Oh My God'. Anoop Rubens is scoring the music for this mega multi-starrer film.
Pawan Kalyan to be seen for 25 minutes in Gopala Gopala
Pawan Kalyan, who plays Lord Krishna in the Telugu remake of "OMG: Oh My God" titled "Gopala Gopala", will be seen for 25 minutes in the film. He started shooting for the film here Monday. While Pawan will be reprising Akshay Kumar's role from the original, actor Daggubati Venkatesh will step into the shoes of Paresh Rawal. "Pawan started shooting from yesterday (Monday). His role is limited to 25 minutes in the film, but the scenes featuring him will be a laugh riot. Scenes between him and Venkatesh will definitely be loved by the audiences," film's director Kishore Kumar told. Venkatesh said that he's excited to be sharing screen space with Pawan. "I'm really looking forward to 'Gopala Gopala'. Pawan and I are working together for the first time and I'm as excited about it as our fans. Both of us have some wonderful dialogues and I'm sure audiences are going to love it," Venkatesh had told earlier. The film, which is expected to hit theatres during Sankranti 2015, also features Shriya Saran, Mithun Chakraborty and Murli Sharma in important roles.
B Gopal unveils 'Podarillu' audio
Directed by Rettadi Srinivasa Rao 'Podarillu' was produced by Akula Siva Durga Prasad on the banner of Venky Academy with Sivabalaji and Neha Pendse in the lead. Noted director B Gopal launched the audio of the film in Hyderabad recently and handed over the first audiocassette to Ramesh Prasad of Prasad Labs. Director Srinivasa Rao says, 'The audio would attract all classes of audiences and the film has a good subject. We are sure that 'Podarillu' would attract all classes of audiences, especially the families. We tried our best to give a good message to the society.' Presenter Akula Sudhir Kumar says, 'Koti gave melodious tunes and the songs would surely enthral the youth. We liked the story which is very good and got ready to produce it.' Thammareddy Bharadwaja, Sagar, Aditya Om, Peddada Murthy, Sivabalaji and others participated.
Ram Gopal Varma keeps his promise, to make 'Gaali'
Ram Gopal Varma vowed never to make Telugu films following criticism over the making of Govinda Govinda. Then, when he was in Hyderabad for the press conference of 'Sarkar 1', he said he would soon make a Telugu film, though he did not specify exactly when. Now, as per the tinsel ville grapevine, Jagapati Babu will be playing the lead role in Gaali being made by Varma in Telugu. Apparently, the film's shooting would begin once Jagapati Babu's Homam is wrapped up. Since it was RGV who had given the role of his life time in 'Gaayam', Jagapati Babu is now returning the favour by acting in 'Gaali', post the debacle of Varma's 'Aag'.
