More news →'Ki and Ka' shows genders don't matter: R. Balki
Filmmaker R. Balki, whose upcoming film has been titled "Ki and Ka" and stars actors Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles, says the film stresses upon the equality of genders. "It is titled 'Ki and Ka'. Hindi is a language where just not human beings, even objects have genders. This film is all about the fact that 'Ki and Ka' genders don't matter," Balki said in a statement. The upcoming romantic film is about two people with contrasting ideologies. While Arjun essays a progressive house husband, who lovingly supports his wife's ambitions, Kareena portrays a super ambitious career-oriented woman in the movie. "An amazingly ambitious LadKI meets a uniquely fascinating ladKA!!! Balki, Kareena and I bring you the Love Story of Ki and Ka Summer 2016," Arjun said. This is the first time Arjun and Kareena would be seen together sharing the silver screen. "Ki and Ka" will also reportedly see a special appearance by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, with whom Balki has worked in his past movies "Cheeni Kum", "Paa" and "Shamitabh".
'Ki & Ka' fun, progressive: Big B
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who will be seen doing a cameo in filmmaker R. Balki's upcoming film “Ki & Ka”, says the trailer of the film looks “cool, fun and progressive”. “Ki & Ka”, which stars actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor in the lead, is based on the life of a young, married couple whose relationship challenges the gender roles placed upon women and men in Indian society. “Next Balki film 'Ki & Ka' trailer... With Kareena and Arjun... Cool, fun and progressive... haha,” Amitabh posted on Twitter on Wednesday. In return, Arjun tweeted: “The three correct adjectives to describe you more than #KiAndKa ! Thank you for the love Amit Uncle”. In the film Arjun will be seen playing a house husband, while Kareena will play an ambitious marketing manager. “Ki & Ka”, which is slated to release on April 1, is Balki's first film in which the “Piku” actor will not be playing the lead. They have previously worked together in films like “Cheeni Kum”, “Paa” and “Shamitabh”.
'Aap Ki Khatir' - The next sure-fire block-buster?

In fact 'Aap Ki Khatir' has shaped up so well that the distribution fraternity is excited about the film. And surely they have number of reasons to do so! First, there is an unusual and fresh pairing of Akshaye Khanna & Priyanka Chopra who are riding high at the box office charts. And being talented, the two are sure to create another 'HIT' film together. Then there is the successful Venus banner with Ratan Jain at the helm giving huge hits like KHILADI, BAAZIGAR, JOSH, DHADKAN, HUMRAAZ, HULCHUL, HUNGAMA etc. with their last release GARAM MASALA being a blockbuster. Aap Ki Khatir - India's first date flick
Romance genre has been shown in numerous settings in Bollywood flicks but one can hardly recollect a film that is thoroughly based on the concept of dating! While Hollywood has been pretty cool all this while to show movies revolving around dating, in Bollywood it has been more or less an alien subject. Filmmaker Dharmesh Darshan, who has been mostly making love stories set in traditional Indian households, tries it a little differently as he goes chic with 'Aap Ki Khatir'. While the film still has dollops of Indian traditions and culture, the treatment has been pretty contemporary with 'Aap Ki Khatir' being projected as a cool date flick. A story about 3 men [Akshaye Khanna, Suneil Shetty, Dino Morea] and 2 women [Priyanka Chopra, Amisha Patel] who realize the meaning of true love after an intensive round of dating, heartbreaks and falling in love all over again, 'Aap Ki Khatir' is a Venus film that arrives all over on August 25th.
Pritam ki kya love story hai!
The soundtrack release of well-known music composer Pritam Chakroborty's ('Dhoom', 'Dhoom:2', 'Gangster', etc.) next film, 'Kya Love Story Hai', has coincided with his real-life love story! Pritam the knot with longtime girlfriend Smita Bhattacharya in a hush-hush traditional wedding ceremony in Kolkata on Monday. The wedding was sudden, leaving Pritam in a daze! Pritam is eagerly awaiting the music release of N. R. Pachisia's 'Kya Love Story Hai' on March 14. The exotically shot romantic comedy releasing theatrically on April 20, features Tusshar Kapoor, Ayesha Takia and Kareena Kapoor in a sensational appearance. The 'I Miss You Everyday' track is already on television, besides playing on all key UK and UAE radio stations, courtesy of the film's overseas distributor, Studio 18. Pritam's composition of Kareena Kapoor's track in 'Kya Love Story Hai' is said to be among the film's highlights.
Hrithik tells his 'Pyaar Ki Kahaani'
One has always looked forward to hearing about Hrithik's love life. Now get set to hear it from the man itself! But naturally he is still not kissing and telling about his real life but for his reel life he is more than willing to tell his 'pyaar ki kahani' with Priyanka Chopra for the movie 'Krrish'. Composed by Rajesh Roshan and written by Ibrahim Ashq, the song has a trademark Roshan stamp while being totally based on Indian melody. To gel well with the mood of innocent love, the song has been appropriately set in scenic beauties with mountains, greeneries and the works and has a feel-good effect as Hrithik sings the song along with Priyanka Chopra appearing as his dream! After 'Fanaa', the music album of 'Krrish' is another biggie that is expected to arrive in a week's time.
