Jayammana Maga Brings a Fresh Life To Vijay
Everybody had pinned their eyes on Vijay starrer 'Jayammana Maga' that was released last week. The film was believed to be very crucial for Vijay's career as his previous films have bombed at the box-office very badly. But 'Jayammana Maga' is not only a hit but has also brought a fresh lease of life to the 'Black Cobra'. 'Jayammana Maga' is considered as the second biggest film of Vijay's career after 'Duniya'. Though films like 'Junglee' and 'Johnny Mera Naam' ran for 50 and 100 days respectively, they were not considered as blockbusters. But 'Jayammana Maga' has already been considered as a blockbuster by trade pundiths. Though the film was not promoted very well, the film got a huge opening. When the film was announced suddenly to be released on the 15th of August, many had wondered why Vijay and distributor Jayanna had taken such a huge risk of releasing the film without prior promotion. But the film industry came to know later that Jayanna and Vijay are trying to encash the holiday season and is pretty successful in that. The collections as well as reports are very steady and people seem to be impressed with the film, particularly the last half an hour of the film.
