Manmadhan Ambu is creating waves in the Kollywood even before its release. The much awaited film of Kamal Hassan has created a record for its overseas rights. USA and Canada distribution rights of Manmadhan Ambu were acquired by Bharat Creation for a record price of Rs 3 Crores. The film is slated for its release on December 17th. The amount paid by Bharat Creations was almost double the price of Kamal Haasan’s last release Dasavatharam. Bharat Creations director Guna said “We are pleased to acquire the distribution rights for USA & Canada of ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ for a record price. The expectations in overseas are very high and the film for sure will be a hit globally”. The film directed by KS Ravikumar stars Kamal Haasan, Madhavan, Trisha, and Sangeetha.
“Manmadhan Ambu” release postponed
One of the biggest releases of December “Manmadhan Ambu” starring Kamal Hassan and Trisha in the lead roles has postponed its release to Thursday December 23rd, 2010. The film coming in both Tamil and Telugu is postponed due the delay in dubbing work for the Telugu version. The film is expected to go for censor in the next week. The rights of the film have been sold like a hot cake and created a record price at overseas. Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies the film is going to be grand Christmas treat for the audiences. Let’s enjoy the grand Christmas treat!

Manmadhan Ambu starring Kamal Haasan, Madhavan, Trisha and Sangeetha in lead roles directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by Red Giant Movies Udayanidhi Stalin is all set to launch the audio on a grand scale. As reported earlier the event will take place at Singapore Expo, Max Pavilion in Singapore with the presence of 7000 audience as a 3 hour show. It is also heard that Ulaganayagan is going to give a performance along with lively music director Devi Sri Prasad. The album has six tracks in which two songs are sung by Kamal Haasan. There is good news for the fans as most of us around the world are unable to grace the audio launch the event will be telecasted by Vijay TV from Kuala Lumpur.
Kamal’s ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ completes shooting
Kamal Haasan, Madhavan, Trisha and Sangeetha starrer multi starrer film ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ wrapped up its shooting and had a party at film director KS Ravikumar’s house. It is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Sources say that as the shooting was completed, Maddy is on plans to have a holiday trip to Mumbai with his family. They adds, “Whenever he gets a small break, Maddy would make sure that he is with his parents, wife and son. And this time too, he has left for Mumbai where his family is living, after completing Manmadhan Ambu.”
Gemini Film Circuits acquires world theatrical rights of ‘Manmadhan Ambu’
The distribution rights of Manmadhan Ambu was acquired by one of the ace production and distribution company Gemini Film Circuit (GFC). The film is hitting the screens worldwide on December 17th. Gemini Film Circuits has bagged it for a whopping price but the amount paid by them has not been revealed. Udhayanidhi Stalin has produced the film.Recently GFC has bagged the rights of Rajinikanth starrer ‘Hara’ and is also producing Shankar directed ‘3 Idiots.’ Manmadhan Ambu will surely a create sensation among the film buffs as the story of the film is very interesting. As per the snoopy sources Madhavan is playing the role of Madhan and Trisha is playing the role of Ambujam. So the film is titled as ‘Manmadhan Ambu’
'Krishnaleelai' is no 'Manmadhaleelai'
Director Selvan, who had earlier directed 'Soor'i starring Vignesh, is back after a break to do a movie for the coveted Kavithalaya banner. The movie stars Jeevan and newcomer Meghna in lead roles. Says Selvan, 'Krishnaleelai is not a Manmadhaleelai remake. It is about a youth who fights for a cause'. 'K Balachander was very impressed by the story. When I suggested Jeevan's name as the hero, K Balachander readily agreed and gave the go- ahead to start the project', says Selvan. Jeevan who has witnessed a good year with back-to-back hits in 'Naan Avan Illai' and 'Thotta' is also optimistic of Leelai's magic. "It's a dream come true experience for me to be part of a KB film so early in my career", Jeevan says.
