Megha Akash to play the lead in Hanu Raghavapudi's film

Megha Akash who has completed Oru Pakka Kadhai with Balaji Tharaneetharan is right now busy with Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta with Dhanush as the lead. There are talks that she has signed Vikram Kumar’s film in Telugu. When we checked with Megha’s side, it was revealed that the actress is yet to sign the film and that it is in the discussion stage only. However, sources close to Megha confirm that she has signed a Telugu film with Nithin as the hero under the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi wherein her role would be pivotal and interesting.

Mega set for Vadivelu movie

After Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, Vadivelu is trying a repeat act in Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan. Directed by Thambi Ramaiah, the movie is a mix of mythology and contemporary theme. A London girl Theetha Sharma plays Vadivelu's heroine in this hilarious entertainer. A grand set replicating the Indiralogam has been put up by art director Thotta Tharani, where the film would be shot. The sets would come up at Prasad Studios in Chennai. Both Thambi Ramaiah and Vadivelu are confident that the movie would be received well by the audience. 'Vadivelu would be appearing in different makeups and would be one of the costliest films made in Tamil cinema', says sources close to the actor.

Mega star night in August

The South Indian Film Artistes Association will be conducting a mega star night on 11 August in Singapore to commemorate the 75th year of Tamil cinema, president, South India Film Artistes Association has said. In a statement here, Sarath Kumar said, 'The star night in Singapore would be attended by all the members of the association. Captivating cultural shows would be staged as part of the event'. The event would be managed by Radaan Mediaworks. Show directors from Mumbai are being invited by Radaan Medaworks for the purpose. In continuation, another mega event would be staged at San Francisco (America) on October to celebrate the 75 years of Tamil cinema.

Meghna Naidu replaces Kiran in 'Vaada'

'Vaada' is a film that stars Sundar C and Sheryl Brindo. Actress Kiran Rathore was expected to play another heroine in the film. Latest developments suggest that Kiran Rathore has been replaced by Meghna Naidu. 'Both Sheryl and I have very important roles in the film' declares Meghna Naidu. 'I am also acting in S. A. Chandrasekhar's 'Pandhayam' which will be releasing next month. Many people think I feature only in one song in the film. That is not true. I am involved in many scenes as well' clarifies the actress. 'Pandhayam' stars Nithin Sathya and Sindhu Tholani in lead roles while Vijay features as himself in a cameo. Meghna Naidu also added that she is not able to accept many film offers as she has committed herself with television shows that involve traveling abroad.

Megha Chatterjee's 'Sharabiyon' in Teesri Aankh

Popular model Megha Chatterjee is slowly but surely paving her way up in the glamour world. After a decent career in modeling, this 20 something lass made her Bollywood debut with 'Aisa Kyon Hota Hai' a couple of weeks back but unfortunately the movie sunk without a trace. Now she is being seen again for the item number 'Sharabiyon' in this week's release 'Teesri Aankh - The Hidden Camera' where she sways to the haunting voice of none other than Asha Bhonsle in this club number. She is supported by Ashish Chaudhry and Aarti Chabaria also on the screen but the song primarily belongs to her. A catchy number, it has Megha coming up with a picture perfect and an inviting appearance with absolutely no display of vulgarity in it!

Megha Chatterjee shines in JBDY party

Haute Megha Chatterjee seemed to have stolen the thunder with the 'Raat Baaki' remix number by Bappi Lahiri in Sunjay Sharma's 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron.'
