More news →'Nadodigal' - film sans heroism
Director Samuthirakani played a villainous role in the film 'Subramaniyapuram' directed by Sasikumar. Samuthiraikani is back to direction and is coming up with a film called 'Nadodigal'. The film features 4 men and 3 women in lead roles. Interestingly, director Sasikumar plays a very prominent role in the film. Others in the cast include Bharani of 'Kalloori' fame and Vijay (Vasanth & Co owner's son). Music is by Sundar C. babu and cinematography by Kathir. The crux of the story would be based on the popular Tamil saying, 'Yaadhum Oore, Yaavarum Kaelir' (All the world is for everyone and everyone is a relative). The film is expected to delve deep into emotive relationships without any semblance of heroism. Characters would be portrayed realistically. This is a trend that is welcomed by Tamil audiences of late and this sure is a healthy sign.
Imaikkaa Nodigal goes on floors on October 21st
Imaikkaa Nodigal directed by Demonte colony fame Ajay Gnanamuthu that has Atharva, Nayanthara, Raashi Khanna and Anurag Kashyap in the cast list is all set to go on floors from Friday (October 21). Imaikkaa Nodigal is produced by C J Jayakumar under the banner Cameo Films. “In the world of cinema, Friday plays a major role. Whatever the work tension may be, people will be feeling relaxed on Friday because of cinema. Hence we are commencing our shoot on this special day. Start blinking your eyes as much as you can, because Our ‘Imaikkaa Nodigal’ is going on floors tomorrow and it won’t allow your eyes to blink, not even for a second”, conveys producer C J Jayakumar of ‘Cameo Films’ in an enthusiastic tone.
Imaikka Nodigal being shot Underground?
Nayanthara and Atharvaa starrer Imaikkaa Nodigal is said to be based on an kidnapping incident. But there is no clear report on whether Nayanthara will be kidnapped or not.The entire team is currently camped in Bengaluru for the shooting. The team has very recently released some photos from the sets. Nayanthara Atharvaa not paired in Imaikka Nodigal
Nayanthara is easily the top ranking heroine in Kollywood and day after day she is signing exciting projects in Tamil. the latest is that she has signed to play a role in 'Imaikka Nodigal' to be directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of 'Demonte Colony' fame. This film will have Atharvaa Murali as the male lead. While it was speculated that Nayan will be playing the pair of Atharvaa the team has denied it. Director Gnanamuthu has said that Nayan will be playing a strong pivotal character but she is not the love interest of Atharvaa in the film. The team is in fact searching another actress to play Atharvaa's pain in this film touted to be an emotional thriller. The director also confirmed that Nayan will start shooting for the film from October 2016.
Director Ajay Gnanamuthu says Gautham Menon not acting in Imaikka Nodigal
A few days ago it has been reported that Gautham Menon is expected to play the lead villain in director Ajay Gnanamuthu's 'Imaikka Nodigal'. But now Ajay has clarified that Gautham has not been approached for any role in the movie. Ajay made a stunning debut last year with the blockbuster horror flick 'Demonte Colony'. 'Imaikka Nodigal' is touted to be a romantic thriller which is being bankrolled by C.Jeyakumar of Cameo Films banner. Atharvaa plays the male lead while Nayanthara has been roped into play an important female character.
What is the core story line of Nayanthara's Imaikkaa Nodigal
The shooting of Imaikkaa Nodigal starring Nayanthara, Atharvaa, and Raashi Khanna is set to commence around mid-October. Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap is apparently in talks to play the antagonist. Cameo films recently disclosed that the script of Imaikkaa Nodigal will have the dimension of a Hollywood one, where alternative tracks showcase the strength of each artist, which will eventually form the fulcrum of the movie. A little birdie has hinted that Atharvaa plays the younger brother of Nayanthara in the film and the story supposedly talks about how these siblings overcome a crisis that has been thrown at them.
