More news →'Nallabbayi-Tellammayi' busy in post-production
DTS mixing is in progress as part of post-production works for 'Nallabbayi-Tellammayi' directed by Nani Krishna, presented by Challa Vijayalakshmi and produced by B Eswarappa on the banner of Sri Sai Sagar Films with Pavan and Sravani in the lead. Presenter says, 'We are making efforts to release the film in September. Director Nani Krishna says, 'I liked two lines in a novel 'Diary of Mrs Sarada' scripted by Yandamuri Veerendranath. Taking those two lines as inspiration, I prepared a good story. It is the story of a bad boy who could not even pretend like a good boy and basically it is a love subject. Though novices, both the hero and heroine performed well.' Presenter of the film Challa Vijayalakshmi says, 'It is a story that runs in village backdrop. There are six songs and one bit song. We are confident that the lyrics and their tunes would attract everyone.' Camera is by Balu, while lyrics are by Kaluvakrishna Sai.
NTR to perform for Nallamalapu Srinivas
A well acquainted fact is that Nallamalapu Srinivas in co-production with Bellamkonda Suresh and Nagalakshmi, has made the film 'Aadi'. The movie was made in the direction of V.V.Vinayak, starring NTR in the lead role. 'Aadi' was the movie that made a mark as a milestone in NTR's career graph which paved the way for escalating him to the status of an acclaimed star, which he is now. After this sensational hit, expectations stood high in the air to see another flick from this success combination. The dream became a stone in the well and the expected occurrence never took place till date. Recently during the audio release of 'Chintakayala Ravi' produced by Bujji, NTR recalled this past incident. He also made an announcement on the dais that shortly he would be working for a new film which will be produced by Bujji.
Naalai to hit theatres 16 June
The much-awaited Naalai starring Richard and Madhumitha would grace theatres on 16 June. Yet another gangster film, Naalai chronicles the friendship between two gangsters. Director Udayabanu Maheswaran says the challenge was in touching the segments in the relationship of two individuals, condemned by the society. 'There is the human side which I have tried to focus. Everyone craves for a better tomorrow and live on hope. Undergoing a bad phase is all in the life of every individual. One needs a strong will power to get out of that and startlife all again.' Besides Richard and Madhumitha, Nataraj Subramanian, who has worked in numerous advertisement films as cameraman, plays the second hero. Mumbai actor Adityan Srivatsan makes his debut in Tamil. Karthikraja has scored music for the film, while cinematography by G Ramesh and art by Maniraj.
Nalan Kumarasamy turns actor! To play a Veterinary Doctor in Sibiraj's next
Renowned film maker Nalan Kumarasamy, who is well known for directing films like Pizza, Soodhu Kavvum, is now trying his luck in acting.Nalan will be playing as a Fish doctor in an upcoming film which feature Sibiraj and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role. “Director Nalan has done a cameo in our film. He plays a veterinary doctor. To be specific, he plays a fish doctor. He shot for a day for his part in the film.” says director Mani Seiyon who is currently busy helming the project.
About the film Naalai
Naalai is an electrifying story of the trials and tribulations of two violent gangsters - Justin (Richard) and Nattu (Nataraj Subramanian). Vinayan with 'Naalai Namadhae
After 'Kasi' and 'En Mana Vaanil', and dubbed version of 'Adbhutadweep ', ace director from Mollywood, Vinayan is once again into Kollywood to create a film, with a message. The new movie titled 'Naalai Namadhae' will be a production for Janaseva Sishu Bhavan, an NGO in Kerala who take care of street children. The movie will also tell a plot based on estranged children who make a living by begging in the streets. The movie which has already started its shoot will feature child actress Sanusha in the lead with able support from Kiran, Rajan P Dev and Manivarnan. The movie being shot at Coimbatore is produced by Jose Maveli in the banner of Janseva Sishu Bhavan films.
