Naveen Krishna has changed his name. It will henceforth be SS Naveen, short for Son of Srinivasmurthy Naveen. Naveen has announced that it is another effort and another step based on belief, hinting that numerology played a part in the change of name. After failing at the box office, it is to be seen if the change in name changes his fortune.
Naveen Krishna Brothers Helping Hand
Actor SS Naveen aka Naveen Krishna is trying to get a new look. And helping him out is his brother Nitil Krishna. After changing his name recently, Naveen is now trying to change his looks as well. Recently, Nitil held a photo shoot of his brother. Nitil, who is also part of the film industry having worked as the assistant cinematographer to Vinod Bharati for films like Sadagara and Gokula Krishna also shot the title song of the film Bidalaare Yendu Ninna. Nitil is now opening a studio shortly which will cater to both the professional fashion and film industry as well as private functions. Meanwhile Naveen is gearing up to spread his wings and sources say will be seen as a villain in a Tamil movie soon. Naveen did not reveal the Tamil venture but said that he is open to doing any kind of roles even in Kannada.
Vadde Naveen's 'One'
Hero Vadde Naveen is playing the lead role in a new film titled 'One'. Krishnateja is the director and Nalla Charan Reddy is the producer. Vadde Naveen has earlier acted in films like 'Pelli', 'Chaala Bagundi' and 'Naa Oopiri'. The film is about the fight of one individual against injustice in the society. Naveen plays the role of Pardhu in the film. Aarthi is the heroine. The film is a complete action entertainer with some big fights. There are a total of five songs in the film out of which two will be shot abroad. Sangeetha, Chalapathi Rao, Kodavalasa, Jeeva, Dandapani, Suttivelu, Ali and others are in the star cast. Music is by Srivasanth.
Variety of roles needed for lasting career: Naveen Chandra
The secret of a lasting career is doing a variety of roles believes southern actor Naveen Chandra, who made his cinematic debut as an obsessive lover in Telugu romantic-drama "Andala Rakshasi". Naveen will now be seen as a Maoist-turned-common man in Tamil-Telugu bilingual "Dalam" and as a construction labourer in Tamil drama "Sivappu". "I have just started my career and it's important for me to do a variety of roles to ensure that audiences don't get bored of me. Luckily, all roles I have picked up so far have been extremely different from one other and this I believe will boost my career," Naveen said Explaining his role in "Dalam", Naveen said: "It's the story of an ex-naxalite who struggles to live a normal life. It's an emotional role and we spent nearly a month shooting in the forest and some villages". He says the technicians of "Dalam" deserve all the credit. "To shoot in extreme conditions, especially in the forest, is not easy. Technicians of my film ('Dalam') worked really hard and I think they deserve more credit than me. We couldn't have pulled off without them," said Naveen. For his role in "Sivappu", Naveen lived incognito as a labourer for two weeks. "It's a realistic role and I wanted to do 100 percent justice to it. I worked as a labourer in my friend's construction unit for nearly two weeks. I asked him not to tell others that I'm a hero. I learnt so much in the process that I would have never learnt had I not worked as a labourer," he added.

But then surprisingly, hero Naveen Chandra's name has popped up. Well, this is not about the game show, but an upcoming film of struggling hero Naveen Chandra has finally find its title. To spin more attention towards the project, the makers have opted for "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" title for this film. Naveen will be romancing Shruti Sodhi of Pataas fame in this film. As the title has huge hyped due to its fame bought by Nagarjuna then, and Chiranjeevi now, hope Naveen gets a bit lucky.
