The shooting of 'Poramboku' directed by Srinivas and produced by B Krishna Reddy on the banner of Tollywood Talkies, introducing Ekta Khosla as heroine and Navadeep of 'Jai'-fame in the title role is nearing completion. The film unit met the press to brief details about the movie. Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam says, 'I am doing a good and different role in this film as the father of the hero. You are well aware that Navadeep is playing the hero. Our director would earn name as 'Poramboku' Srinivas soon after its release. Though the film was titled as 'Poramboku' to suit the subject, the hero is not a weird or waste fellow. He will remain a roll model with his attitude, though he behaves like naughty. Now the film is nearing completion. We did the shooting in a very happy mood. Though a novice, Ekta Khosla performed well.' Director Srinivas says, 'Poramboku means waste and useless fellow. But there is nothing like useless in this universe. Likewise, every human being has something to do in this society. But that person could set a target for himself once he realizes what he could do for the society. Once a person sets a goal, he would definitely try to reach it. Our main aim in bringing out this film is to tell everyone that none is use-less in this world. I thank the producer for giving me this opportunity.' Producer Krishna Reddy says, 'I returned to the film industry after a long gap and producing the film as I liked the subject very much. The first schedule of the film was done in Rajahmundry. Mani Sharma gave six melodious tunes to our film. Of them, we are planning to can four songs in India and two abroad. The audio would be released in November and the film in January.' Hero Navadeep says, 'I am sure that the film would earn me as a good name because the director molded the character in a fantastic way.' Heroine Ekta Khosla thanked the producer and director for giving her a chance in the film. Dialogue writer Ramesh Gopi says, 'Though the film title says 'Poramboku', the producer made the film to prove that there is nothing like useless.' Popular Tamil artistes Senthil, Vadivukkarasu, TV anchor Neeraja, Saleem Panda and others spoke. Noted fight masters Ram-Laxman took charge of the action part in the film.
'Poramboku' to hit screen in January
Navadeep, who proved himself as a talented hero with 'Jai', 'Goutham SSC' and 'Modati Cinema' is pairing up with debutant Ekta Khosla for 'Poramboku' being directed by debutant director Srinivas on the banner of Tollywood Talkies. The film is being produced by B Krishna Reddy who gave a big hit like 'Sindhura Puvvu'. This prestigious film had almost completed shooting, but for the canning of two songs. The remaining two songs would be choreographed abroad. Mani Sharma gave music for this film and the audio with six songs would be released into the market in November. The story revolves round a wayward boy who reaches city from a village and the problems faced by him and how he resolved them. The film is being made with commercial values and at the same time there is a good message also. The producer is planning to release the film in January.
'Poramboku' in Pucket for canning of songs
Canning of songs is in progress at Malaysia for 'Poramboku' directed by Srinivas and produced by B Krishna Reddy on the banner of 'Tollywood Talkies' with Navadeep and Ekta Khosla in the lead. Presently one song is being choreographed on Navadeep and Ekta Khosla in Pucket Island. Revealing this, executive producer PC Yogeswar Reddy says, 'We have started canning of songs in Malaysia from October 28. The shooting would be wrapped up with the canning of another song in various beautiful locales in Malaysia. The film, which has a different love story, has good scope for music also. The film would inspire the youth and encourage them. The Telugu meaning of 'Poramboku' means useless. But we would like to explain that nothing is useless in this world. As far as entertainment, there are several prominent comedians in the film and make the audiences burst into laughter with their different comedy.'
'Poramboku' returns from abroad
The unit of 'Poramboku' directed by Srinivas and produced by B Krishna Reddy on the banner of Tollywood Talkies with Navadeep and Ekta Khosla in the lead had returned from abroad after canning of two songs. Executive producer of the film PC Yogeswara Reddy says, 'We canned' 'High voltage cheyye veste'' song penned by Sahiti at Pucket Island on Navadeep and Ekta Khosla, while 'Banggaram Aithe Nee Andam'' penned by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar in Mauritius. Both the songs were choreographed under the direction of Sridhar. Three other songs were canned in Hyderabad earlier. The remaining one song was also planned in Hyderabad. The film will have a two hour entertainment, and half an hour sentiment. We are planning to release 'Poramboku' in January. We are sure that the film would be a big hit as everyone in the unit are working hard. Mani Sharma's music would be another highlight for our film.' Brahmanandam, Senthil, Ali, Venumadhav, Vadivukkarasi, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Venumadhav and Kavitha are in the lead cast.
'Poramboku' is ready to hit screen January
The unit of 'Poramboku', directed by Srinivas and produced by B Krishna Reddy on the banner of Tollywood Talkies with Navadeep and Ekta Khosla in the lead, had been to Pucket islands in Malaysia for the canning of two songs. The film promises two hours of complete entertainment plus a 30-minute sentiment scene. Producer Krishna Reddy says, 'We wanted to prove through our film that nothing is useless and there is no useless fellow in this world. We will complete the shooting by November and undertake post-production works in December. The film would be released in January. Mani Sharma is providing tunes for our film.'
'Poramboku' completes shoot
The shooting of 'Poramboku' directed by Srinivas and produced by B Krishna Reddy with Navadeep and debutant heroine Ekta Khosla in the lead was completed recently. A youth who was branded as a useless fellow goes to the nearby city on the word of his mother. How he proved himself is the subject of the film. Navadeep's character has two shades ' A vagabond in the first half and a responsible youth in the second half. Efforts are on to release the film on January 26. Manisharma provided tunes for the flick and the audio is slated for released in the first week of January.
