'Premam' Telugu remake is titled 'Majnu'

The Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster "Premam" has been titled "Majnu", and it features Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in the lead. "The official title has been registered as 'Majnu'. The team plans to start shooting from this year end or early next year," a source from the film's unit told. To be directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film will also feature Amyra Dastur and Anupama Parameswaran as the two leading ladies, while the makers are on the lookout for the third actress. "Shruti Haasan is most likely to play the third heroine. Talks are going on, but nothing has been confirmed yet," the source said. "Premam", which has emerged as one of the biggest Malayalam hits, is the coming-of-age love story of its protagonist spanning through over a decade at different stages in life. The film will be produced by S. Radha Krishna.

'Premam' actress Sai Pallavi To Make Her Tollywood opposite Varun Tej

A love story between an NRI from USA and a girl from Telangana will form the core of this movie. " Sekhar Kammula is a wonderful narrator and Varun has already established a name for himself. I am happy to announce a project with them", said producer Dil Raju. Mega Prince Varun Tej has established a unique identity for himself within a short span of time, with his story selection and acting abilities. Sekhar Kammula is known for making clean entertainers that attract young adults as well as family crowds. The two of them will now be working with noted producer Dil Raju very soon.

Premam team heading to that Country

Naga Chaitanya's Premam is the most awaited film of the season, due to its original love story. Here comes an interesting updates about the progress of this film. After completing shoot at Andhra University in Vizag and then at Hyderabad, Premam team is now focusing on filming songs. Reports are coming that the team will head to Norway to film couple of songs. We have to see if both songs will feature Shruti Haasan in the lead or one will be given to either Anupama Parameshwaran or Madona Sabastian. Directed by Chandu Mondeti of Karthikeya fame, Premam is likely to release in August 2016.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya's movie Premam is currently in its final shoot stages and the post-production works are going on parallelly. The audio of this movie Premam is to be unveiled on 7th August. This movie is the official remake of Malayalam's "Premam", which was a very big hit not only in Kerala but also the other states too. Chandoo Mondeti as the director, the movie stars Naga Chaithanya, Sruthi Haasan, Anupama Parameswaran, Madonna Sebastian as the lead roles. Gopi Sunder, Rajesh Murugesan are the music composers for this flick.

Premam Beauty Imitating Pawan?

Here's the most popular Premam beauty Sai Pallavi seemingly imitating Power Star Pawan Kalyan's trademark 'hand on his neck' mannerism along with director Shekar Kammula as young Mega hero Varun Tej looks on. This candid moment was captured during the ongoing workshop as part of the film's pre-production. Conducting actor's workshop may still be an alien practice in Tollywood, but Shekar Kammula has been making it mandatory for all his actors since Anand. Shekar Kammula's film will be a romantic drama in which Varun Tej will be seen as an NRI who falls in love with a Telugu beauty. This film is being produced by leading producer Dil Raju. The regular shooting will commence soon in August.

'Premam': Audio & release dates are now official

Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, who is making 'Premam' on Sithara Entertainments, has announced the release dates of the film's audio and movie. While the audio will be out on Sept 20, the movie will hit the screens for Dasara. Director Chandu Mondeti of 'Karthikeya' fame has his second release in this one. PDP Prasad presents the film. Currently in post-production phase, the movie’s first video song will be out on August 29. "The video song of 'Evare' will be out on the occasion of Akkineni Nagarjuna’s birthday. We have released the first audio song only recently on a radio station and are pleased that the song is on chartubusters. Written by Srimani and rendered by Vijay Yesudas, it has become a rage”, producer Naga Vamsi says. “On September 20th, which is the birth anniversary of legendary Akkineni Nageshwara Rao garu, we are going to launch the audio in a grand manner amid fanfare and in the presence of film personalities,” he further adds. Meanwhile, Chai has added that the "musical love story is very close to his heart". “It will touch everyone’s heart as well,” he says. Music-directed by Gopi Sunder and Rajesh Murugan, the album has lyrics written by Rama Jogaiah Sastry, Srimani, Vanamali, Poorna, and Krishna Madineni. Also starring Shruti Haasan, Anupama Parameshwaran, Madonna Sebastian, Eeshwari Rao, Jeeva, Brahmaji, Srinivasa Reddy, Prudhvi, Narra Sreenu, Praveen, Chaitanya Krishna, Aravind Krishna, Satya Karthik Prasad, Noel, and Jogi Brothers, it has cinematography by Karthik Ghattamaneni. Editing is by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao. Art direction is by Saahi Suresh. The director has written the screenplay, and dialogues as well. The film is an adaptation of 'Premam' (Malayalam), whose story was written by Alphonse Puthran.
