More news →Raees album is being revamped
Raees shoot is going in full swing but it seems the makers are not happy with the music of the film and are re-working on it to gel well with the film. Shah Rukh Khan starrer “Raees” will comprise of five musical track album including one EID song since the film is releasing during EID time and the music has been composed by Faizan, Agnel and Ram Sampath. Infact, the music of the film was completed long time back but as the shooting progressed, the makers felt they were not doing justice to the film as the music has to go along with certain scenes from the film. As they do not want to take any chances, they are revamping the album and adding the EID song as it will released during the festival time. “Raees” is being directed by Rahul Dholakia, and is being produced by Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
Raees Vs Kabali Clash Averted?
After much talk about the clash between Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kabali, news is now coming in that the clash may not happen after all. In light of recent, where there’s been massive public outcry over Pakistani artists working in Bollywood, word is that SRK and his co-producers, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, are contemplating on shifting the film’s release yet again. However, unlike the case with Salman Khan’s Sultan, the postponement this time won’t come due to the clash with Kaabil, but rather because of the recent furor over the inclusion of Pakistani actors in Bollywood films. An source close to the film’s unit was quoted by HT saying, “SRK’s film is introducing Mahira. After the MNS had asked all Pakistani actors to return to their country in the wake of the Uri terror attacks, the makers are now worried this development can severely affect the business of the film. Because of the MNS order, the makers want to push the release date to avoid double losses. Also, they can’t afford to have the movie boycotted at the last moment due to the current tension between India and Pakistan. If the film is postponed, it will be a big win for Hrithik. Both Dilwale and Fan didn’t fare well at the box office. So, SRK will avoid taking a risk like that.”

Not a clash: SRK on releasing 'Raees' with Salman's 'Sultan
For the industry, the Eid release of Salman Khan's "Sultan" and Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees" will be a clash of the Bollywood titans at the box office in 2016, but SRK says they are now both "good friends". The actor, who is back from "Dilwale" shoot for five days, was present at luxury watch brand Tag Heuer's campaign "Do Not Crack Under Pressure" launch here on Monday. Asked how he takes the box office clash of "Raees" with Salman's "Sultan", Shah Rukh said: "It's not a clash. We both are good friends now, so we will do everything together...will also release films together." "There is nothing like a clash as there will be films which will come together, release together. Aditya Chopra is producing 'Sultan' and Salman is acting in it. Similarly, Excel Entertainment is producing 'Raees' and I'm acting in it." This is not the first time that Salman and Shah Rukh will witness a box office clash. In 2006 too, the two had their releases "Don -The Chase Begins Again" and "Jaan-E-Mann" together and the former faired well. The 49-year-old Shah Rukh says "clashes are bound to happen as there are only 365 days in a year and 54 Fridays and we make 200 films, so some films release on same Friday". So, SRK is unfazed about the clash of "Raees" with "Sultan", but admits "business will get divided".
SRK's Eid offering to fans - 'Raees' first look
While superstar Salman Khan is treating his fans with "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" for Eid, Shah Rukh Khan's gift to his fandom is the first look of his movie "Raees". Eid falls on Saturday this year. "The Holy month of Ramadan is almost over and while everyone is prepping up to celebrate Eid... Here's our offering of the celebration to you," read a statement from Shah Rukh's production banner Red Chillies Entertainment on Thursday, a day ahead of the release of Salman's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan". SRK took to Twitter to share two posters of his film, which will clash with Salman's "Sultan" on Eid next year. In one photograph, he is seen giving an intense look to the camera while donning aviators and a white ensemble. “Baniye Ka Dimag Aur Miyanbhai Ki Daring,” is written on the posters he has shared. Along with the image, the 'Bollywood badshah' wrote: “Kem Cho, Majama??? Poster of Raees an Excel & Red Chillies film. Dir. Rahul Dholakia. More to follow…hope u like it.” In the second poster, SRK sports a black Pathani suit while sitting in a liquor shop. "'The man in black travels with your soul in his pocket' - Stephen King. V hav both White & Black in us, choose wisely,” he captioned the image on Twitter. Produced by Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment, the film also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. SRK, 49, had earlier released the first look of "Fan".
We'll discuss: Ritesh Sidhwani on 'Raees', 'Sultan' release
The release of Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees" and Salman Khan's "Sultan" next Eid is being termed a "massive clash". But "Raees" producer Ritesh Sidhwani said the filmmakers will attempt a discussion over the so-called clash. "Once both the films are done, we will sit and talk. Several films are announced but then they (release dates) are moved too," Ritesh said ahead of their upcoming movie "Bangistan". One of the other producers, Farhan Akhtar, was surprised when asked about his stand on the 'clash'. He said it wasn't the right time to talk about "Raees" and they will talk at the appropriate time. Ritesh added: "Eid is next year and our film just has 20 days of shooting left. We're working so that the film comes on Eid, because it is that kind of a film. Even they (the 'Sultan' team) will also try for a similar plan but first let the shooting of their film begin and then we'll see. There is no specific intention to have a clash."
