Manchu Manoj-starrer Shourya has been cleared by CBFC with U/A certificate. The censor board passed the film and the movie is now all set for world-wide grand release on March 4. Producer Malkapuram Siva Kumar says that this is biggest-ever release in Manchu Manoj's career as the film is being released in highest number of theatres. "Already film's trailer and teaser got good response. There's good buzz for the film. It's biggest release in Manoj's career," said producer Siva Kumar. Directed by Dasaradh, of Mr Perfect fame, Manchu Manoj will be seen romancing Regina Cassandra. The chemistry between the lead pair is said to be one of the highlights of the film. Noted writer Gopi Mohan penned screenplay and provided dialogues for the film.
Naga Shourya, Sonarika in Jadoogadu
Young actor Naga Shourya's fourth Telugu movie 'Jadoogadu' is nearing completion. Makers of this upcoming venture have been maintaining a low profile and have recently released Jadoogadu first look posters. Sonarika Bhadoria of Television soaps 'Tum Dena Saath Mera' and 'Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev' fame is playing Shourya's love interest in this romantic entertainer being directed by Yogesh of Venkatesh's Chintakayala Ravi fame. VVN Prasad producing Jadoogadu is an action entertainer that has completed most of its shooting with the recently shot song choreographed by Raghu master. Shourya is simultaneously dubbing for his portions in Jadoogadu. Naga Shourya who made his presence felt in Tollywood with Oohalu Gusa Gusalade, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya and Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki is expecting a commercial success with Jadoogadu.
Puri To Test His Luck With Shourya
Dashing director Puri Jagannadh is in need of a super hit right now. Out of his 3 films released last year, two films 'Loafer' and 'Jyothi Lakshmi' turned as disasters. He is currently working on Kalyan Ram's 'Ism'. Though there was news that he would work with NTR and Mahesh, reports reveal that he would be working with budding hero Naga Shourya. From the past few years, young heroes remained unlucky for Puri. Most of his films like 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi' with Rana, 'Loafer' with Varun failed at the box-office. The only exception was 'Heart Attack' starring Nithin. On the other hand, Naga Shourya too tried to get the mass hero image by selecting some action oriented scripts. But, he too failed miserably. Known for giving a complete mass makeover to heroes, Puri is trying to get the script right for Shourya's film. Hope their film hits the bull's eye and gives the much needed success and mass image for Puri Jagannadh and Naga Shourya respectively.
Secret In Niharika, Shourya Dating!
Konidela Niharika’s cinema entry was full of drama. Mega family showed stiff opposition on her debut into glamour field as a heroine. Brand Rama Raju of ‘Mallela Theeramlo Sirimalle Puvvu’ and the backing from TV 9, Madhura Sreedhar Reddy finally happened in a heart touching love story ‘Oka Manasu’ released few days ago. Beyond any doubt, the major promotional pull for this flick was the romantic rumors spread around Niharika and Naga Shourya. They both were gossiped to have entered into a date while shooting for the film in Vizag. All this would have made Niharika strong from inside but Mega family reputation was put at risk which Chiranjeevi hasn’t liked. On other side, few reports suggest that everything connected to Shourya, Niha affair was a framed story popularized by few of the members associated to ‘Oka Manasu’ team. The dating story was aggressively popularized only to give an extra push for ‘Oka Manasu’ pre release promotions. Definitely, they have reaped benefits. For an off-beat film, such dynamic openings and wonderful pre release business aren’t expected. That is the power in web media gossips.
Shaurya-Of Honour, Faith and Belief
The director of 'Shaurya' Samar Khan is all praise for his cast of 'Shaurya' that includes Kay Kay Menon, Rahul Bose, Javed Jaffery and Minissha Lamba. The director is so happy that he has gone to the extent of calling this team a dream team. The director praises his cast in this film and says they were professionalism personified. His buddy Amrita Rao plays a cameo in this flick. Though she did a considerably small part she was very professional and she did not voice any complaints even when her schedule was stretched. 'Shaurya' is a story of justice, honour, faith and above all believing in yourself. A story of finding courage within, where friendships are tested in the battle which matters the most. The film is a battle for truth and justice. It is the story of Javed, a man wronged by his country by the very men who he fought with and who were his friends. It is the story of Siddhant, whose only aim in life was to escape reality and wasn't ready for what life presented to him. It is the story of Kavya who never understood why it was difficult to speak the truth. It is the story of Akash for whom living by the rules was the only way to live life. And it is the story of Brigadier Pratap, a man who lived by his own rules even if they were against humanity. Captain Javed Khan charged with mutiny, treason and killing a fellow officer is being tried for court martial. He refuses to speak in his defense as he fears that the secret of the night he holds is too powerful for the establishment to handle. Assigned to unearth the truth are Sid and Akash, two best friends, who are lawyers. They are two very ambitious young individuals who have absolutely contrasting views on life. Nevertheless, this one case will change their lives' forever. The case takes the two of them to Srinagar. While Akash follows the blueprint, Sid discovers a new meaning in life. Kavya, Javed and of course the man in question, Brigadier Pratap all start becoming catalysts in the case that starts becoming much more than he thinks it is. Yet the unanswered questions remain. Why is Javed silent? What is the truth behind that night? Why is Brigadier Pratap hell bent on getting Javed convicted? Will Sid have the courage to save Javed's life and his? To know the answer to all these questions we must wait patiently for 'Shaurya' to hit theatres. By what has been revealed so far 'Shaurya's plot sure seems to be fast-paced and entertaining. It looks like a movie with the right components for a successful flick. We hope it becomes a hit and makes a mark at the box office.
'Souryam' Triple Platinum Disc function
'Souryam' made on Bhavya Arts banner featured Gopichand and Anushka as the lead pair which was made in the direction of Siva. The movie was produced by Anand Prasad. The film was released on 24th September and is running successfully in theatres. To joy over this occurrence, the unit members celebrated the Triple Platinum Disc Function, at Brahmaramba 70mm Theatre, Kukatpally on 17th October. Speaking on the occasion hero Gopichand said, 'The producer had faith in me, I believed in the director, and the director Siva has realized my faith by hundred percent, and made this film a success. My thanks to all viewers who rendered applause for this film.' Heroine Anushka said, 'The moment I heard the subject from Siva, I told him that the movie will be a hit. My thanks to all viewers who made this a success. I also convey my thanks to the cameraman who portrayed me beautifully in this film.' Director Siva expressed his thanks to hero Gopichand and producer Anand Prasad for having faith in him and giving an opportunity to direct the film. Producer Anand Prasad expressed his gratitude to the viewers for making it a big hit. On this occasion, executive producer Anne Ravi, Tanikella Bharani, distributor RamReddy and others were present.
