While on Naresh, he has another film coming up titled Sundarakanda. The film has the combination of Bapu-Ramana and it is said that Naresh gets to play yet another meaty role in the film. Naresh too is said to have performed wonderfully in the unique comic style of Bapu-Ramana. The film's unit has recently gone for outdoor shooting and is back in town. The promotional activity will start soon as the shooting is now complete. Post production too has started. Charmme and Naresh, both have two films each lined up for release.
'Sundarakanda' and a Happy Birthday for Bapu
This year is a happy year for director Bapu. He has teamed up with writer Ramana once again and has made 'Sundarakanda'. For once, it has a young cast, with Naresh and Charmme in the lead. Though, Charmme is known for her glam doll image, Bapu has seen his Bapu bomma in her and went right ahead with the casting. The story is set in a village and has a realistic story, like all Bapu films. The post production work too is nearly complete and the film is due for release any time now. 'Sundarakanda' audio on Jan 25
Finally, the wait is over. Charmme and Naresh starrer made by Bapu will hit the screens on February 8. The audio will be released on January 25. The film is set in a village and the total backdrop is quintessential Bapu. It is said that the film has subtle comedy which is his usual style. And like all his films, the picturisation and characterization are said to be picture perfect!
Pinky to Charmme with 'Sundarakanda'
After treading into the horror genre, and after many romantic leads, Charmme is now set to try something light and frothy in 'Sundarakanda'. The film is releasing on February 8 and Charmme plays Pinky, a bubbly young girl in the movie. If one goes back to mythology, 'Sundarakanda' is the chapter which revolves around the mischievous vanaras. So, you can expect a lot of mischief in Bapu's Sundarakanda too. And here's some inside dope. For all those wondering if Charmme had dubbed for herself for the film, we are told by a little bird from the film's unit that it is playback singer and dubbing artist Sunita who had dubbed for her, as the character is totally that of a Teluginti adapaduchu.
Chaitra Cinema Circuit's film titled 'Sundarakanda'
Directed by Bapu and produced by K Aparna on the banner of Chaitra Cinema Circuit with Allari Naresh and the charming Charmme in the lead, the film was titled 'Sundarakanda'. The film's next schedule was planned from October 3 to 13 at Bobbili Fort, Konaseema and its surrounding areas. Later, the unit would shift to Hyderabad and continue its shoot from October 15 to 29 and wrap up the shooting. Vidyasagar is scoring music while PRK Raju is the cinematographer. It is well aware that 'Sundarakanda' with Victory Venkatesh and Meena in the lead was a super hit. Saint-poet Valmiki wrote the episode named 'Sundarakanda' when Sita and Rama were separated and Hanuman gave them a solace by informing the whereabouts and welfare to each other. Kota Srinivasa Rao, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Ranganath, Rallapalli, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, LB Sriram, Lakshmipati, Prema, Sangeetha, Padma Jayanti, Srividya, Sunil Sharma and others are in the cast. The film is likely to hit screen in November.
