Shah Rukh accompanied by the cream of Bollywood stars like Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Arjun Rampal performed at the world premiere of the 'Temptations Reloaded World Tour' at Rotterdam, Holland in front of a crowd of approximately 25,000. If the Asians call him the Badshah, then the people of Europe prefer to call him Saudagar of sunshine and most often in short as just sunshine. Sharukh's overseas fans believe that they sense a lovely light entering into their life after they watch the king's movies. The growing interest among the natives of Europe in Bollywood is primarily due the bright colours, songs and dances, feel good factor and stories made of fairly tale dreams that are particular to Hindi cinema. Bollywood is said to make the European film lovers happy by these ingredients of the escapist cinema. "Bollywood makes you happy" is the catch line for marketing commercial Hindi films in Europe. The notion that most of the films gives out a positive attitude towards life have attracted the European crowd who like this aspect of the films. The tour is organized by the Netherland based Sekier Entertainment Service. For over to six years this company has organized shows by prominent Indian artists like KK, Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Kavitha Krishnamurthi, Jagjit Singh etc in Europe. Berlin in Germany is the city where the powerful rays of sunshine will hit next.
Tara as unwed mother in Amy's SUNO NA
Amy Thanawala, erstwhile assistant to Sanjay Leela Bhansali ('Khamoshi') and John Mathew Mathan ('Sarfarosh') makes her directorial debut with 'Suno Na', being made under the banner of Cinema-Kollage. The film is now complete and being readied for early release. The film revolves around an unwed mother. Spurned by her lover, she takes an extreme step and decides to commit suicide. However, it dawns on her about the child she has been carrying. Why kill the innocent unborn for no fault of hers? She decides to move to a city, find work, give birth to the child and start a new life. The film takes a humorous turn when the mother and the child in the womb start talking to each other; even sing a duet. The child wants to know many things, including about her father. The story also revolves around three men who come in her life during these nine months. Tara Sharma plays the leading role in the film. This is her first film after her marriage.
'Sunshine smile' Sneha speaks out
Sneha is back in Chennai after completing her portions for the film 'Achchamundu Achchamundu' which was filmed completely in the United States of America. Says Sneha, ''Achchamundu Achchamundu' is a thriller that will give you the creeps. The movie has come out very well. There are no songs in the film and the total duration is only one hour and twenty minutes. There are not much of fight sequences too. It'll be a great movie to watch'. This is the first time Sneha is acting in such a kind of film. Moreover, this is the first time she had to stay in a foreign location for so long to complete the film. The movie also stars Prasanna and is directed by Arun Vaidhyanathan. Many Hollywood actors feature in this film and one of the latest advancements in the world of movie cameras ' the RED camera has been used. The quality of cinematography is expected to be world class. Sneha had a lot to say about her trip to America. 'I made a lot of friends there and we went shopping. I was on a clothes buying spree for some time and enjoyed working in America very much'. On what kind of roles she would like to do in the future, Sneha said, 'I want to work in a love story that has the potential to melt hearts. It's a long time since I was involved in a film like that'. She also added that she is waiting for the right script to get this desire into action. Now that 'Achchamundu Achchamundu' has been completed, Sneha would act in a film titled 'Aruvadai' followed by 'Autograph 2'.
