More news →Sura release in Kerala
It’s going to be a bad news for Tamil films. The Film Distributors Association Kerala (FDAK) has declared not to give permission to any other languages movies except Malayalam to release in Kerala simultaneously with all Indian releases from May 1 this year. This decision will badly affect the kollywood industry more than any other industralism as Tamil films have a huge following in Kerala as much as for Malayalam. This decision was taken to save the small budget Malayalam movies in Kerala. It’s also bad news to the team of ‘Sura’, as the movie which is slated for the release worldwide on May 1 has no permission in Kerala now. But new decision from FDAK is, it can release in Kerala only two weeks after its worldwide release. In earlier months, other languages films like Avatar, Vinnaithandi Varuvaya, Vettaikkaran, 3 Idiots etc; did a great business at the box-office in kerala. Related posts

Has Ajith opted for Sura?
Film directors and actors take great pains in naming their films these days. It has to be short and catchy. Ajith is nearing half a century of movies after his 'Aegan' is now gearing up for his next. A stylish portrayal in 'Aegan' and now is his 'Sura'. A near miss has always prevailed between Ajith and Gautam for they couldn't work together until now. The 49th film of Ajith is all set to be directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon. Gautam had earlier planned to name the film Surangani. However, the title had already been registered by one Suresh, who had directed a film titled Velai. Following this, it is said that Gautam has 'cut-short' the film's title from Surangani. And now it might be titled as 'Sura', says the sources. To be produced by Sivaji Productions, the movie will be an action-thriller, as said by the close circles to the director. The director is currently expecting the release of his 'Varanam Aayiram' starring Suriya on the 14th of November.
