Udhaya, son of producer A L Azhagappan, who acted in films including Thirunelveli, Kalakalapu and Shakalaka baby will get married on 24 August in Chennai. He will be married to Keerthika, a graduate residing at Vadapalani. Udhaya is currently acting in Kadhal Sathi and Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya. The wedding will take place at MAM Ramasamy Complex at Guindy Race Club in Chennai. In the evening, a grand musical show by music director Deva. Udhaya's brother A L Vijay is directing Ajith's Kireedom.
Its double delight for Udhaya
Kadhal Saadhi, directed by Kasthooriraja with Udhaya as the hero, is all set for a release this year. Udhaya is hopeful that this film will do well. He has another film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya, which will release soon after Kadhal Saadhi. This has sent positive vibes across Udhaya who has another reason to feel delighted. Vijay, the director of Kireedom, is Udhaya's brother. That Vijay is making his debut with an Ajith Kumar film is itself something that calls for celebration. Vijay in Udhaya Nidhis film?
Will Vijay work in a movie to be produced by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's grand-son Udhaya Nidhi? There were speculations that the two would come together this year. When queried, Udhaya Nidhi said, 'It is certain that I would try my hand at film production, but the actor and the director have not been decided.' On his part, Vijay said, 'The project is still under consideration and we haven't finalized it as yet.' However, it looks likely that the two have decided to work together. Recently Udhaya Nidhi took part in a function organized in Madurai to celebrate the good run of Pokkiri and heaped laurels on the actor and it was reported that the two were closeted for a while.
Udhay, Ezhil to Start Rolling Next Week
Director Ezhil, who is known for his standalone blockbuster classics, is teaming up with Udhayanidhi Stalin, who is taking shape as a versatile actor. This project is yet-to-be-titled, but sources have it that it is a comic caper, and the birdie now says that the team will start shooting next week. Starting 21st, the project will go on the floors. On the first day, the team will shoot in Chennai, and then head to Karaikal for the rest of the schedule. This two-heroine film stars Regina Casandra and Shrushti Dange. Music for this Udhay-starrer is Imman.
