More news →'Vijayadasami' in climax shoot
Shooting of climax scenes is in progress for 'Vijayadasami' directed by V Samudra and produced by Edara Ranga Rao on the banner of Sai Sarvajit Movies with Nandamuri Kalyanram and Vedika in the lead, and Saikumar playing the villain at Indra House in Ramoji film City. It may be recalled here that the film is the remake of a super hit Tamil film 'Siva-Kashi'. Script writer Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao says, 'This movie would remain a milestone in Kalyanram's film career. At the same time, it would be another good film for Saikumar after 'Samanyudu' and the character would earn a bigger name for him as a versatile artiste.' Kalyanram and Saikumar are playing brothers in the movie while Suman and Jayasudha are playing their parents. The film is slated for release on September 6.
'Vijayadasami' audio on August 23
Shooting of some important scenes for 'Vijayadasami' directed by V Samudra and produced by Edara Ranga Rao on the banner of Sai Sarvajit Movies with Nandamuri Kalyanram as hero, Vedika as heroine and Dialogue King Saikumar as villain is in progress. The film is the remake of a successful Tamil film 'Sivakasi'. Hero Kalyanram's is playing the lead character called 'Sivakasi'. He is doing the role of a person who is ready to sacrifice his life for the sake of friendship, while Saikumar is playing his brother. Suman and Jayasudha are playing their parents. The shooting of the entire film, except canning of a song, would be completed by August 20. It was proposed to launch the audio on August 23 and efforts are being made to release the film either on September 6 or 13. Srikanth Deva is scoring music for the flick.

Canning of a song is in progress for 'Vijayadasami' directed by V Samudra and produced by Edara Ranga Rao on the banner of Sai Sarwajit Movies with Nandamuri Kalyanram and Vedika in the lead. Generally, political parties would rope in film stars for campaign during the elections unmindful whether they would get the votes or not but people would throng in large numbers for the public meetings to have a glance at their favourite stars. Such real life incidents could be watched in this film. Saikumar is playing a politician in this movie and he brings in film star Simran for election campaign on his behalf. A dance programme of the heroine would be arranged for the purpose and the hero shakes legs with her in that dance sequence. A song 'Cine Taara Vachindoy' Swagataalu Cheppandoy'' is being canned under the choreography of Ashokraj. Director Samudra says, 'We will wrap up the shooting part of the film with the canning of this song.' The producer is making efforts to release the film on September 21.
'Vijayadasami' slated for Sept 21
Shooting, post-production and censor formalities were completed 'Viyajadasami' directed by V Samudra and produced by Edara Ranga Rao on the banner of Sri Sai Sarwajit Productions with Nandamuri Kalyanram and Vedika in the lead. The film is the remake of a successful Tamil film Sivakasi. Another speciality of the film is that Dialogue King Saikumar is playing villain in the movie. The film is all set to hit the screen on September 21. Hero Kalyanram says, 'I am confident that the film would give me another big break in my film career. The mass dialogues would be on par with the ones that were delivered by my grandfather, my paternal uncle and brother NTR. I am sure that the audiences would receive my film in a big way. There is a good response to the audio as well.'
Surya-Asin starrer by Vijayadasami
Surya and Asin proved to be a successful combination and a hit pair with 'Gajini' both in Tamil and Telugu languages. Now the two are pairing up again for a film being directed by Hari of 'Swami, Aaru and Bharani'-fame. The film is all set for release by the ensuing Dasara festival in Tamil and Telugu languages. The Telugu version of the movie is being presented by Bellamkonda Suresh on the banner of Aiswarya Art Creations Pvt Ltd. KVV Satyanarayana and S Panduranga Rao are jointly producing the film. 'Vel' is the title confirmed for the Tamil version, while the Telugu title is yet to be announced. The shooting of the film is going on at a brisk pace in Chennai. While the Surya-Asin pair is the main highlight, Hari's direction and Yuan Shankar Raja's music would be an added attraction.
Simran to do a special song for 'Vijayadasami'
Senior actress Simran, who started her second innings recently, is doing a role in 'Okka Magaadu' directed and produced by YVS Choudary on the banner of 'Bommarillu'. It is well aware that she had signed the dotted line to play heroine opposite Krishna Bhagawan for 'John Apparao 40 Plus' under the direction of Kuchipudi Venkat. According to the latest information, she is shaking her legs for a special song for 'Vijayadasami' directed by V Samudra and produced by Edara Ranga Rao on the banner of Sai Sarvajit Movies with Nandamuri Kalyanram and Vedika in the lead. It seems, Simran, had decided to utilise each and every opportunity that comes in her way standing a true example for the maxim 'Make hay while the sun shines'.
