After roping in slender beauty Regina Cassandra and hot Television celeb Sree Mukhi to romance Avasarala Srinivas in the Telugu remake of Hindi adult comedy 'Hunterr', now the makers have roped in the third leading lady.
Bengali actress Mishti Chakraborthy, who made her tollywood debut romancing Nithiin in 'Chinnadana Neekosam', has been roped in to play one of the female leads opposite Avasarala Srinivas. As Mishti was impressed with the role and narration given to her, she signed the film even though it was an adult comedy.
'Hunterr', which explores the life of a sex addict, was not only critically acclaimed but also branded adult even for the standards of Bollywood. How it will be received by Telugu audiences is a big question. But, makers claim to have made several changes to the subject and toned down the adult content to suit the sensibilities of relatively reserved Telugu audiences. To be directed by Naveen Medaram, the remake will be produced by Abhishek Pictures.
It is commendable to see young actresses like Regina Cassandra and Mishty accepting to be part of content driven adult comedies.
