Mega producer Allu Aravind is a shrewd businessman. He leaves no leaf unturned to makes his films (produced under prestigious Geetha Arts banner) get wide, smooth release without any jostle for screens.
Now proving this yet again, he managed to push Suriya's S3 by a week. Upon Aravind's request, Suriya has decided to postpone his film from Dec 16 to Dec 23 in both languages. This gives good two-week gap for Ram Charan-starrer Dhruva thus making it easier for him to rake in profits.
Hero Suriya shares fatherly bond with producer Allu Aravind. None other than Suriya had stated this many times publicly. In fact, he stated that whenever he is Hyderabad, he makes sure he meets Aravind. Such is the bond the duo has since Gajini. Aravind's Gajini has established Suriya as a star in Telugu and expanded his base. Since then, Suriya treats Aravind as his God Father in Tollywood.
With Aravind himself asked Suriya to defer by a week, Suriya has readily agreed and gave way for Charan. This in turn is also a healthy trend which was earlier practiced by the likes of Mahesh Babu, other big stars of the TFI.
Since Ram Charan is desperate to set records with Dhruva, Aravind's move may come in handy. It may be recalled that Aravind-Charan is the successful combo. The duo's Magadheera was an industry hit and then it's highest grosser making it the biggest hit in Charan's career till date.
