The political issues do not stop artists work in their profession in different languages. The hue and cry of Hogennakkal issue is not a bane now it seems. Off late a few Kannadigas are working in Tamil films and vice versa.

Actress like Namitha played the heroine in 'Indhra', Mamatha Mohan Das played heroine in 'Ghooli', Genelia acted in 'Satya In Love', Navya Nayar played an important role in 'Gaja' ' important films released in the first half of 2008. The powerful actor from Telugu Jeeva is making debut in Kannada. Bangalorean a Kannada speaking Vasundhara Das is in many Indian languages including Tamil and Malayalam.

The top ranking Rajanikanth, Prakash Raj, Arjun, Murali and a few others may be having 'Lakshman Rekhe' but others are cool in their approach.

From Kannada too a few artists entered the Tamil and Telugu films recently. In Tamil filmdom it is a debut for charming actress Haripriya in 'Kanagavel Kakka' with Karan as hero it is the fourth film for veteran actor Doddanna 'Idham Pade'. Avinash and Ramya (Divya Spandana) have already good position in Tamil films while another villain of Kannada films Kishore after playing an important role in 'Polladhavan' is playing the role of Kabbaddi coach in 'Vennila Kabbaddi Boys' Tamil film. Kishore replaces the busy actor Pasupathy in 'Vennilla Kabbaddi Boys'.

In 'Kabbaddi' Kannada film that is almost complete the same Kishore is a joint producer and plays the coach role. The film is totally different from the Tamil film he promises speaking to this correspondent.

Doddanna is playing the main villain in 'Idham Pade' who sacrifices in the end. In the past he has acted in 'Olayadhe Kodungal', Pudhir and another S.Narayan directed Tamil film in his career spanning 27 years. Doddanna appreciating the work atmosphere and urge for making quality films with discipline in Tamil filmdom is also contemplating on dubbing his voice for the film in Tamil. The huge personality and acting potentiality are both talk of the town for him in Karnataka. The comedy roles and dialogue delivery of Doddanna have given huge success for Doddanna who has acted in over 300 films. He is playing the role of a good minister in Sudeep double role film 'Veera Madhakari' that is launching in August. A good orator, powerful stage actor too Doddanna is a highly philosophical personality.

Haripriya the beautiful girl from Bangalore making debut in 'Manasugala Mathu Madhura' has made a beginning in Tamil film 'Kanagavel Kakka'. She has already appeared for first schedule of shooting in the direction of Selvam at Pondicherry. Another Kannada actor Avinash is playing the role of hero Karan's father in the same Tamil film where Haripriya is the heroine.

Haripriya's new film in Kannada 'E Sambashane' with newcomer Sandesh was launched a day before the release of her second Kannada film 'Vasanthakala' on Thursday at Kanteerava studios. Haripriya plays the role of IAS officer in Kannada film 'Mukyamantri I Love You' that has completed shooting. In 'E Sambashane' she plays the role of a software company employee.
