K Production Rajarajan, the popular industrialist who is producing the period film Madai Thiranthu with Rana Daggubati and Sathyaraj has procured the Tamil Nadu distribution rights of magnum opus Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.Besides TN distribution, Rajarajan also bought the overseas distribution rights of Baahubali 2 in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions of the film. Reportedly the Tamil Nadu distribution rights alone have been sold to 45 crores, which is a record for a bilingual film.
Earlier there were rumors that Jazz Cinemas has bought Baahubali 2 but K Productions has cleared the air with an official press statement.
