Diganth starrer 'Barfi' which is said to be the most anticipated film of the season is all set to release on the 30th of August.
Barfi is a romantic love story between a Punjabi girl and a Mangalore based boy. The film has the distinction of being the first Kannada film to be shot in the Wagah Border and Amritsar's Golden Temple. While Diganth plays Mangalore boy, Bhama is seen in the role of Punjabi Kudi in the film. Suchendra Prasad, Pavithra Lokesh, Harish Raj, Dilip Raj, Samyukta Belawadi and others play prominent roles in the film.
Shekhar who had earlier directed 'Amruthavani' and 'Parole' has directed the film. Gundlupete Suresh is the cameraman while Arjun Janya has composed the music for the film.
