After a brief stint as actor in Kollywood, Manoj Bharathy, son of veteran director Bharathiraja is keen to try his hand at wielding the megaphone.
It may be recalled that the young actor had worked as assistant to director Mani Ratnam for some time.
Buzz is that the movie would be produced by Bharathiraja himself. Manoj K Bharathy is planning to cast newcomers in the movie.
Asked whether he would emulate his father, Manoj's spontaneous reply was a firm 'no'. 'I will establish my own style'.
Manoj vows that his film will be imbued with his own personal style and will be nothing like his dad's style.
Plans are on to commence shooting by this year-end.
