Back in the 80's, Blade Runner emerged to be one of the most advanced sci-fi. In 2011, Alcon Entertainment bagged all rights to Blade Runner, and is now rolling out a sequel to the 1982 classic; the sequel is written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, directed by Denis Villeneuve of Sicario fame, and cinematographed by Roger Deakins.
With Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Robin Wright, and Mackenzie Davis already having signed the dotted line, the latest to join the crew and complete is casting is Jared Leto, whose latest hit performance was as Joker in Suicide Squad. With the blueprint in place, the film is scheduled for release on October 6, 2017.
