Box office figures do not matter to Salman Khan

Box office's darling, Salman Khan, who will be back with 'Sultan' releasing on Eid already has experts guessing the numbers. Unaffected by the pressure, Salman doesn't let that overpower his next release. In an interview to a daily, Salman said that the number speculations are foolish and the assumption that the current release should make more money than the previous one, else it is a flop, is pointless.

In the interview, he revealed that even though the tickets for 'Jai Ho' were at an average of `150, it still managed making 138 crore, which isn't less. He feels it is the comparison by viewers that people make between two movies that makes them a hit or a flop.
While Salman doesn't deny that numbers are an integral part of any business, he says that one needs to take the plunge and footfalls matter more than money.
