Actress Shruti Haasan, who enjoys the star heroine status in Tollywood will be next seen Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster "Premam". Sruthi is sharing screen with Naga Chaitanya and she will be essaying the role of a college lecturer. Now an interesting piece of news was doing rounds about the film. Its known that Sruthi is having several blockbusters under her kitty in Telugu.
It was Chaitu who suggested the name of Sruthi for the lecturer role as he feels she will perfectly apt for the film. But the makers feel Sruthi's pay package can't be afforded as it was a medium budget film.
When makers are hesitating to rope in Sruthi it was Naga Chaitanya who accepted to cut down his remuneration by 50 lakhs for adjusting Sruthi's remuneration. The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti of Kartikeya fame and the film story is about the three stages of romance in the protagonist's life. Hope Chaitu will get double returns in form of blockbuster success for his sacrifice.
